This modification you made is excellent. Currently printing a bunch of the adaptor plates, however I will alternate the magnet polarity. This way I don't have to try and match plates between connections.

Quick tip: Heat up the PVC with a heat gun if it is a tad too small and force it over a connector that is a bit too big to fit and you get a great connection.

Thanks for sharing your files. Did you print the 4” hose adapter with the threaded end facing down to the printer plate or facing up?

Great files I printed them all out and they needed a little fine tuning like you said but everything turned out great thank you for sharing! Im very happy with your design!

What a timely video, I was thinking about doing this while its still cold out and I'm not crazy busy. Now I don't have to recreate the wheel. Thanks!

Hi, this is a great system and it looks like it will work very well. Being I do not have any access to 3 D printing, I will try and adapt it to wood. I know it will heavier but your idea is great. Thanks. Roger D.

These quick connects are the best design I've come across to date! Great work. Do you happen to have another file format for your original 3D models? I've tried to modify the STLs and the programs I've imported them into have really butchered the mesh files making them hard to tweak. What did you create them in originally? I'm hoping to eliminate some overhangs on a a few of them and adjust overall diameter's. Thanks!

I used Fusion360 to create the files. I might still have the original files saved, but it has been a while. Reach out to me at tnlightle@gmail.com and I will share with you what I have.
