The animations are yours? Really? Wow, you deserve your "epix" name! ;) If you don't mind, I'd like to show this video to my puplis (I'm a Geology teacher). Of course, showing them your channel. P.D: Sorry for my English. I know more about prehistory than your language XD
Well, there are some theories about it. Rangeomorphs most likely absorbed the nutrients from the water with their surface and were reproducing shooting off smaller versions of themselves. Proarticulates like Dickinsonia were feeding on microbial mats, absorbing them with some tiny openings on the bottom sides of their isomers (segments). Looks like they also were shooting off their offsprings. The exact mechanism of how these animals "got pregnant" is unknown so far.
@@3depixinc Actually, its a joke. One of the creatures in your video is called Dickinsonia. Dick is another word for penis, in as in inside and sonia which is like the name for a girl. So yeah, he basically made a penis joke.
Great video. I love this super ancient stuff gives me the same sense of immensity as looking up at a mountain from it base

@@3depixinc Asexual reproduction
@@beeterion9003 Coming up.
Nowadays we have animals without any organ or tissue, like sponges; they can multiply by asexual reproduction or undifferentiated sex cells :)
Не верю в теорию эволюции! Верю в Творца и признаю Его замысел.

Who's in Sonia?
Sorry, I cannot understand your question.
@@3depixinc the commenter is talking about how the name "dickinsonia" can be split apart and make "dick in Sonia" making it sound sexual.
