    The ones that have a kitchen are pretty simple and basic, so you may want to check with resorts directly as what the kitchens come with. Abaniko Beach Resort has a couple of bungalows with kitchen, Nordic Inn has s communal kitchen, Heather and Aspen Inn also has a communal kitchen Bantayan Wacaba Haus more for long term stays has a kitchen Kandugyap House by the Sea main building has a kitchen. There are extended videos on the resorts on our website

    Where i can find the white sand and clearest water in bantayan? what resort?

  • @RobBrand
    @RobBrand  11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks! Bantayan Island is a lot more low key than Boracay - don't expect any partying! I'm not sure exactly what you mean by low budget tour - of Bantayan Island? or Cebu?

    Hi Rob. Thanks for the informative videos. Looking at taking the family for a holiday around mid - late January. Which resort would you recommend for the better beaches, a bit of peace and quiet and about 4 star or more in quality? Also I see there is an air taxi which seems good value instead of a 4 hour coach ride for about $40 Australian from Cebu city to Bantayan Island. Is there much in the way of shopping for the girls? and fishing tours for me? Looking at some island hopping as well. Is Malapascau accessible for a day trip also or too far away? Sorry for all the questions but would really like to do things right for the family. Cheers mate and Thanks.

    • @RobBrand
      @RobBrand  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You won't find 4 star and above on Bantayan, 3 star is about the best you can get . Try looking at Anika Island Resort, Hoyohoy and Ogtong Cave Resort . I have done more detail videos on these resorts in this channel and on my other channel Finding Paradise. There is no air service between Cebu City/Mactan to Bantayan - there was a few years ago but it didn't last very long. Best off getting a taxi to Hagnaya. If you need a number of a reliable driver - Boy 0923643 4701. Shopping - best done in Cebu City, there are plenty of huge malls - Santa Fe Town in Bantayan is basically a one street town with a few restaurants, couple small stores and a market. No real shopping there. Malapascua is bout 2 1/2 - 3 hours by boat one way. So it's not really worth doing a day trip, you wouldn't get much value out of it. Also if you're going to do that, really check ocean conditions. I wouldn't do it if the oceans are rough. On my other channel "Finding Paradise" I've done some island hopping ideas on some of the resort reviews. I don't know any fishing tours in Bantayan, but I know some of the luxury resorts in Mactan do offer that (Shangri - LA). Hope that helps, Cheers - Rob

      +Rob Brand thanks for the advice Rob. I kind of did have my heart set on Bantayan since looking at your videos. went to Boracay last year and wanted to find something more scaled down but still something for the family in a paradise setting. cheers.

    Hey Rob, do you think Bantayan is nicer than Boracay? Me and my family will be going to the philippines for the first time and wondering which beach to go to. Cant decide between El Nido, Bantayan, and Boracay.

    • @RobBrand
      @RobBrand  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its still recovering from Typhoon Yolanda (Im going to update with a new video soon). For me I like Bantayan as its a lot more low key than Boracay, the sands in Boracay are finer, but that place for me is a bit too commercialised now. In Bantayan its a bit less greener from the damage from the typhoon but I visited early this month and it is growing back. El Nido ive not been to

  • @RobBrand

    It's more personal choice, rather than "best", as everyone has their own opinion of what they like and don't like. I've written what my favourite resorts are beyondcebu(dot)com/my-blogs/bantayan-island-resorts-and-guide.
