Malapascua has changed a lot..I remember the last time I was here, there was only 1 place to pass the night and maybe 2 or 3 restaurants to eat from. And at that time, electricity in the island was so scarce, the whole island is in full blackout from 6pm onwards. But the island is still as beautiful as it was 😍
Good day Rob. I find this video ( actually all of your videos i've viewed) very informative. Thanks. Im planning to go to malapascua next month and im looking for an affordable beachfront place to stay. Would cocobana be a recommended resort based on my preference? TIA
Thanks Vincent! I just got back from a recent trip to Malapascua a few weeks ago and I will post new video as soon as I can. Bounty Beach is a little bit bare, but its coming back! (from the damage of the typhoon last year) Cocobana is a nice place, they have a pool now, their restaurant was damaged a bit and was under repair still (early April). Generally the Malapascua is getting back, the village and a lot of the internal part of the island you can still notice lots of damage. As far as the resorts go, they are pretty much back to normal with an exception of a few (Dano, Bantigue and Ging Gings).
Hi í love your videos i will be coming to this island for my honeymoon in august for a week.Do you know if any of this resorts have cottages right on the sand by the beach? Many thanks :-)
Thanks! The resorts that have cottages close to the sand on Bounty Beach include Cocobana Resort and Dano Resort they offer pretty simple cottages, some with aircon and some with fan cottages. The more nicer (and pricer) resorts are Ocean Vida which offer nice more upmarket rooms (although not cottages) the ocean front open up onto the beach (2nd storey rooms have balcony overlooking the beach) and Hippocampus have oceanfront rooms 2. Is it possible to get here by boat from Bohol?
+Music and life There is no commercial trip and it is a fair way, I think its best to go back via Cebu City from Bohol
i would love to gift this place to my self, instead of feeding someone here in my house that is no Value to me, so why not its time for me to injoy
Everything is already changed.
