Man, that was just a year before he died. Philip was supposed to come visit me here in Spain (we were friends from way back), and then his cancer recurred, which was fucked up because he thought he was in the clear and he was full of energy and making plans to do all kinds of things.
Philip was great. He used to support me on Medusa Fora, when no one else did. Wish he was still around. I went to London last May 3rd, saw Pogues reunion, 3 original Pogues, of course Philip was missed, same as Shane, Darryl..
