Honestly as long as 7 zip continues updating the program I don’t see it “breaking” the way some games for example do with some mods. It’s really just up to 7 zip how long they wanna keep the program alive for the most part

So, what if the compressed file, has compressed files in it (logs for example)? How do you automatically and recursively, go thru all sub dirs, and have them auto extract as well?

but how do you extract multiple zip files but at the same time, move all of the extracted folders to a different folder directory without going to the trouble of doing cut and paste to the newly extracted folders? is there any 1 click process???

I detect a 7-zip bias here because WinRAR also has the same option available as 7-zip, which was “Extract to Separate Folders” lol

Considering Microsoft hasn't integrated anything into their OS to do it, then yes... you'll need to download a separate program to handle it.
