  • I do apologize for losing the clips where i sowed the seeds. It is the first time i grow this variety and although i will not give it priority in my garden(due to wanting varieties with bigger tomatoes), it has great qualities. It is super compact, very productive, and the tomatoes are good size. It also seems disease resistant. It takes a bit to get going, but once it does, it gets loaded. In case you are wondering, they were only fed with fish emulsion. Hope you enjoyed the video!

    I know this video is 3 years old now, but birds often times will peck at unripe and not completely ripe produce for its water concentration. If you add a cheap bird bath nearby, that actually could work in your favor in reducing or eliminating all together any future problem like that. The birds often times just want a drink and if it's hot and dry out, and find water easily.

    • @ltlbnsgarden
      @ltlbnsgarden  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Thank you so much for the advice. I have added a bird bath since then and they have left my tomatoes alone for the most part. It does work. Thank you once again and hope you have a great day :)

      @@ltlbnsgarden Awesome to hear! And thank YOU for the video on the tiny Tim's. I have two of them planted in my apartment right now under some grow bulbs. One is not doing great, but the other is THRIVING since being potted up to a half gallon container. Gonna toss it into a 2 gallon grow bag before it starts flowering, for its final home soon. Excited to see how it does indoors.

    The Tiny Tim is such a nice compact plant. I find they hide the tomatoes in the foliage and I won’t realize how many I have until I get digging around. This was a nice beginning to end type video.

    I grow tiny Tim tomatoes. My grandchildren love them. Your look very good. I use a smaller container because the roots don’t grow too deep. Your seedlings are off to a great start. And your first tomatoes look delicious. Thanks for sharing. Happy Gardening!☺️

    Got a small seed pack of Tiny Tin in the supermarket yesterday. Will give them a try in March. Our season is pretty short. Outdoor from May to September (for the sweeter fruits), Cabbage can be planted for longer periods.

    U didnt explaim abt the water routine?? How often we should water the tiny tim plant??

    • @ltlbnsgarden
      @ltlbnsgarden  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      En cheng hi! Watering really depends on your soil and climate. Some areas like mine get very hot, so I need to water every other day. Some areas are mild and need to water every two days. A quick trick is to stick you finger in the soil up to your second knuckle, if the tip of your finger feels dry, then it is time to water. Hope this helps 😊

    • @ltlbnsgarden
      @ltlbnsgarden  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      jethro69tull hi ! Great question. Tiny Tim is a determinate type of tomato plant. You don’t remove the suckers, since it will put out all its flowers and tomatoes at the same time. Not removing its suckers will give you a higher and better yield . Hope this helped 😊

    ugh, how horrible. as a tomato enthusiast this video was painful to watch - though i actually enjoyed most of it up until harvest time! you picked these way too early, it doesn't ripen as well once it's off the vine because the fruit no longer gets nutrients or energy from the sun. you went to all the trouble of growing them just to harvest them too early. :( look at that awful half-green, sickly pink hue to the tomatoes. more importantly, these are more like plum tomatoes rather than cherry tomatoes as Tiny Tim is known to be a cherry, i'm not sure what variety this even is.
