Great choices. We aren't big fans of mixes over here either. With so little time, space and opportunity in a yard it is always more comforting getting to choose each spot. We are currently a little over a year without buying seeds but want to lock in the full numbered year so are holding back buying till Jan. 1st. B. Buttons is a cool flower Angel has been trying to get back in the yard a couple seasons now. Fun video. Thanks for the share!
Wow very beautiful 😊😊😊
Shade cloth can be a game changer. Thanks for the share!
Thanks for the share!
Great video and community building theme as we enter into the cold season for many. I would love to send some seeds your way. We are beyond overwhelmed at the moment but will email you pretty soon when we get an opening to make sure mail is the same and such. Love4Love! Thanks for the share!
@@UT33200 hi friend! Thank you for watching , please say hi to Angel and the kiddo 🤗
More fun with love for love. I hope you get a lot of new seeds.
@@babetteisinthegarden6920 thank you Babs 🤗
@@TIERRAYLOMBRICES lol yo tambien 😅😂😭😭
Do you mean the uterus, as the seed pod?
@@PreciousBoxer you can call it what you wish, or it’s proper name.
@@ltlbnsgarden what is the proper name?
@@PreciousBoxer I don’t use proper names because I don’t know them, but I looked it up for you and google said carpel 😊🎉
Some seasons the weather isn't right for cukes. We had a good year, bad year and now another badish year. Get em next season. Thanks for the share!
@@UT33200 that is so true friend! I will try another variety next year 😊
Definitely fix it. You don't want any burnt banana leaves.
Sweet little birdie. The only thing is it ate up my lettuce seeds.
Thank you so very much for the seeds. I can't wait until next year to see mine in bloom and attracting butterflies.
@@babetteisinthegarden6920 I’m can’t wait to see them grow for you 😀
Congratulations, you have pears. Are they like figs? Do they droop on the branch?
Really great seed collection and storage. Be careful buying seeds. You may go looking for zinnias and end up with 4 new types of melon. LOL Thanks for the share!
You can grow a lot in those space masters 👍🏼
@@gardentours yes so true 😊
Little lines on the leaves are called leaf miners. If you look at the underside you might be able to see a little tiny maggot. Squish it. Did you get any cucumbers at all??
@@babetteisinthegarden6920 no cucumbers 🥒 Babs. But I will try again next year lol
Can I cut it and put it in dirt to propagate?
@@xocheenahox yes absolutely. Just make sure to protect it from direct sun for a couple of days. 😊
And when did Start these seeds and get them in the ground?
Hi Zule, if you have any extra space (big ask) I really recommend you try some of that holy basil next spring. It's not so much a culinary herb like Italian basil but it is more medicinal. It actually grows as a perennial shrub so you only really need to plant once. The leaves and flowers make a delicious tea, and are one of the most effective herbal medicines I have grown. You can drink the tea to help with almost any kind of infection. A strong tea from the stuff is one of the most effective remedies I have found for cold and flu. It is also an adaptogen and is really helpful for stress and anxiety because it helps to clear the adrenal gland. Have some of the tea at night before bed and the next morning you should feel refreshed and relaxed. I personally use this herb all the time and just had some tea the day before. Anyways happy growing! Anyone else reading this who wants their own holy basil seeds to try just dm my instagram @colepphotos I have a lot of extra seed
You are definitely organized. And I am definitely not organized.
lol I think I go overboard with the many seeds
A great and easy snack especially with Halloween around the corner. Thanks for the share!

Did The other cantaloupe make it.

The smell is crazy! 🥴 I haven’t tasted mine yet, but the seedlings smelled like gas ⛽️ Such a pretty herb 🪴
@@NicoleSmithGardening lol yes the smell is intense for some. I grew up with it , I think I can’t smell it now. You are so right it is a pretty herb friend 😊

What a great video for a new gardener.
@@babetteisinthegarden6920 thank you Babs 😊
Lots of great types to get going. True Leaf is a pretty cool seed seller out of Utah. Cucamelons are a super fun grow as well but agree they do take a little extra knowledge for their success. We did well our first season with them but then horrible our second. Fickle but fun. Sharing is caring. Love4Love. Thanks for the share!

Haha thank you for the shoutout! I'm glad you liked the Syrian peas. Will be looking forward to the seed video. I started some seeds today as well, but unlike you guys it's mostly cool season plants. Here in the San Jose area the sun is lower in the sky and all the summer veggies are slowing down, so it's time to transition.
@@colep4617 no shout out, just the truth. You are such a generous person! In case I haven’t said lately , thank you for your kindness and most importantly your friendship! 🤗
Great share! Very informative ❤🌞

Walking onions are a crazy good grow. 2 days ago we pulled the bulbs off our wild ones we have and they are already starting anew in a lid of water. Thanks for the share!

No longer the crunchiest garden on the internet. LOL Good is good so worth a grow still. Thanks for the share!
@@UT33200 lol now we are semi-crunchy over here. A win is a win 😊💥
Yes the echincacea is doing great, thanks again. That's another one where you saved me because I used to have a plant, but it died while I was away at college. Saved me from having to buy some more. Comfrey is doing good too, they're in pots right now. The hardest part is finding a good spot to plant them.
@@colep4617 awesome! I love Echinacea, I will try to grow the yellow one soon too. I have the same problem friend, I have no space. 😀
Great recipe! I'll have to try it. A lot of people make salsa verde by just boiling the tomatillos onions etc in water, but the flavor isn't there in my opinion. Frying in oil seems like the best way to bring out the flavor in the tomatillos
@@colep4617 yes so true friend 😊
Thank you for sharing
@@babetteisinthegarden6920 thank you Babs! 🤗
Great recipe. I would probably have to go with a slightly less hot pepper to make it but looks great for sure. When I was a kid a friend of my Mom would make it and was always super hot. The family ate it all and loved it but funny watching the whole family roasting till it was gone. LOL Thanks for the share!
@@UT33200 yes you can definitely substitute the peepers for jalapeños , it will still be delicious 😋. lol yes we love spicy and suffer while eating it, but we still eat it 🤣🤣🤣
