Thanks for sharing this with us. I really wonder why CAD/Draftsight makers have all these hassles with fixing the text for printing. Sheets are always available in a standard size (I know there are rolls that can be of any length but people tend to print in a standard size). So, I guess it would be much convenient if the CAD makers display a group of text sizes from which a user select the best visible/readable according to his paper size. I know their current method is very flexible but it is really not very convenient.

Yes, it is very "strange". Maybe it is because of the support of the autocad - fileformat and for compatibility reasons.
