I really like this guy. I swear every time I hear him speak he’s honestly trying to share the secrets of making things sound musical. He tries so hard to make things uncomplicated, but it’s hard to simplify theory. It’s like reading there are rules that you have to learn in order to be successful at it.
Kickback Couture people think your crazy for wanting to learn at least some basic theory. It has done nothing but help me expand my range musically. So now instead of only creating beats in the same key. I can create beats in whatever key I want. It also opens up the ability to float between genres. Developing a unique and individual style of my own.
He saying it does the same because most the clipping occurs throughout the kick n 808 so technically ur not affecting the rest of the beat as u would with the volume good way to test this is to try to see if the volume meter duck more than the eq is doing even tho i think its doing the exact same
@@KickbackCouture i dont really get the meaning of that ? is it like for example if i am newbie the secret is to get good at making melodies and rhythms and when i reach this point then the secret is to become good at mixing and producing?
Was listening to a track i liked and realized the core melody was just one note but if u listening it sound super melodic lol the rest of the beat carried that one key note

He’s definitely dope! It can definitely be difficult to get those points across.

The secret depends on your skill level
