You've got mad skills!!!! I've just dived back into making music and I'm going to be hitting your page up frequently for tips and tricks! Thank you!!!🔥
This was a pretty cool vid on the BX vocoder and Neptune. I’ve been on the fence using these on my own off and on key vocal singing. My songs have a 70s rock sound and I’m from the old school mentality that this won’t work on classic rock sound. But after re-watching The Phantom of the Paradise for the thousand time. I thought about the Phantom loosing his voice and Swan the villainous producer helping the Phantom recreate is voice with 70s technology. And your video has given me the confidence to try this out and see if it works for me. Thanks again!
@@caged-melody Thanks! Even some of the greats used vocal tuning. It wasn’t always to fix pitch, they just liked the futuristic sound and it gave cool depth to their vocals. I hope it goes well when you try it out!
Yes, some of my heroes would use Eventide Harmonizer to pitch correct or use it for vocal effects back in the day. I do have midi melodies I did for vocal piano guide for my tunes. I’m going to use that with the BX and see what kind of magic I get.
I don't have a straightforward suggestion here. The only way I can think of is to have a separate Neptune for each polar and only one polar per layer instead of using the 2 shifters and the dry signal.
This is why I love reason, you can do and build anything, if you put your mind to it
Thank you!

@@Fibonacci_Alpha hello!
One thing I've always wondered is if there is a way to scale lock polar's pitch shifter - any routing suggestions?
