If the money is guaranteed, along with medical/dental benefits, and half is due at signing she should take it.

Nothing like a league that has never made a profit. Mess up their cash cow that was handed to them.

Here's what's gonna happen. Clark is gonna take TNT's offer, tell them to divide it up amongst all Unrivaled players, and still be hated by them.

People overlook CC's ethos, part of which is loyalty - to her team, to her city/fans, and to her dream to play in the WNBA. Yes, the league and players have been everything, up to and including cruel, to her. But her staying with the WNBA will force them to adapt and this will fundamentally change how it operates. CC's stated goal.

The way the WNBA IS managed Clark could be permanently injured at any time. This way she is set for life and can force guarantees to protect her safety on the new league she can't yet require from the WNBA.

Caitlin should go to where she is aloud to play her game and no jealousy

Make no mistake. Caitlin was one of their first phone calls. She has already turned them down at least once. GM Lin Dunn spilled the beans and said Unrivaled courted CC months ago. What is happening is that clearly, their TV deal with TNT is contingent upon them signing Caitlin. Without her, they'll likely still get a deal, but not nearly as lucrative. Just like the WNBA would not have gotten 2.2 billion if CC was not in the league.
I may be not even a microscopic blip on CC's radar...but if she joins Unrivaled, I will never support her again. It would mean she learned absolutely nothing from her rookie season. Of course TNT is pressuring them to get CC...but there is literally ZERO upside to her doing this. Hear me out, folks: This "league" is totally independent from the WNBA. This means, it will be even LESS regulated than the WNBA. This means, opponents will have even MORE free rein to flagrantly foul and injure Caitlin--with NO consequences. And they 1000% WOULD--try to end her career, or at least knock her out for the 2025 season.
They can end her career and not bat a fake eyelash--and start next season in the WNBA like nothing happened. Meanwhile, CC loses all of her endorsements in a flash. YES, She would lose them all. Cathy Engelbert would throw up her arms and claim ignorance--as usual. Some say, well, they could offer CC equity and 10 times more money than everyone else. YES, because that's what CC and her fans need: yet another reason for players to hate her and manifest their jealousy via violence some more. Nowwww, you're thinkin' !!! NO...HARD PASS !!!

Wait , wait , wait , they're thinking of going on ..... Strike ? How about they make the damn games watchable first ! I'd say good luck but I'd be lying if i did !

They still don’t turn a profit so them going on strike would be no different if they played a whole season. The WNBA is cooked lol.

How TF is this "a Messi deal" ???....Messi came into an established and already profitable league. Not a novelty startup. Therefore, when Messi was offered equity--he had a clear idea of what that dollar amount might be. Unrivaled has not played ONE game yet. They could offer Caitlin 90% ownership in the league. But if it does not turn a profit--that means she can expect 90% of sheeiiit. That's like someone telling you, "I am giving you 1 million dollars--but you cannot spend it". Smoke & mirrors. Nothing more. That is, unless TNT is willing to cut a sizeable check directly to Caitlin--irrespective of whatever the financials and ultimate revenue generated are for Unrivaled. You can bet TNT recognizes CC's value more than the brain-dead WNBA players and commissioner.
You can also bet the house and farm that this isn't the founding players saying, "We want Caitlin"--it is TNT demanding, "You'd better get Caitlin if you want to see an actual, lucrative TV deal". And if Unrivaled takes off--the WNBA is dead. NBA owners are NOT going to want to play the role of "cuck" and keep fully funding a league whose players are in direct competition with them--and affecting their pockets. All while getting ZERO return on investment--which has been the case for 27 years and counting. That would be like a husband giving his wife a stipend so she can go on dates with her lover. Like WTF ??? "Unraveled" is a pet project founded by the same toxic, drama queen, fake activists who have kept the WNBA from growing & flourishing for 27 years. Messi would NEVER in a million years have joined an "Unraveled"...and neither should Caitlin It is beneath her. It is beneath her fanbase.

I’m laughing about one WNBA player who says she’s trying for equal pay with men. It entertainment. You don’t draw the attendance or merch sales to justify the same pay. This is not some DEI(quotas) job! It merit basis! What a concept!

This would be a stupid move if she joined this stupidity! And thank you for turning down Ice Cube! It’s like someone said the other players would hate her even if she took the $75M and spread it among the other players too!

    Now that CC#22,
Caitlin Clark is getting all this
Money$ ••• those so jealous are going to say ••• wait for it
Wait for it- it’s because she’s
    White, because their black !!
Not because of her unique skills - that broke all those records, despite the referees
If this true, why about NBA !!😮

Collier seems like a genuinely nice person--BUT--her comments about Caitlin were CLEARLY, 1000% self-serving. She could've said these things during the season, instead of going along with the "get along gang". As far as I am concerned, screw all of these people. They LOVE to claim "the product has always been great"...and "it's not just Caitlin growing the game". OK, prove it. Besides, why would you want Caitlin and her "toxic, racist fans"? I thought you all felt unsafe around 8 year-old little girls wearing Clark #22 jerseys? My, my, what a difference a case of desperation makes....again, screw these ungrateful, entitled, petty & petulant cretins.
