Idk bout anyone else but having dozens to hundreds of physics objects on screen at once your able to play with with no performance hits feels way more "next gen" then a game being slightly more hyper realistic in graphics then last year
the game uses adaptive resolution, which is a surprisingly simple technology with amazing results. you can get a rock solid framerate with almost no loss of fidelity, it's infuriating to me that developers ignore this method while investing everything in dead-end framegen technology.
If Limes ever reads these comments: plastic rubber depolymerization is pretty common, but pretty easy to clean up. Isopropyl alcohol will get rid of it real quick
In case you're still wondering, you can change costumes by collecting 48 puzzle pieces. There's also a photo mode that can be unlocked at 64. (You unlock something in the Crash Site every 16 pieces.)
Since you mentioned liking games that do underwater music changes when you went down the water slide, I wanted to also give a shout out to the tiny mouse powerup since it also makes changes to the music to make it sound like it's farther away from you when you're tiny that I thought was really neat in the same way. (Also, I've revisited that level a ton of times and there are _so many_ things tucked away all over the place that you can explore and to me it's by far the most fun level of what I've played thus far because it's so whimsical).
1:56:00 it's so good that game acknowledges the PSP Daxter game. Which to me was one of the best PSP games. 1:58:45 Makes sense Crash and Jak are together for both being from Naughty Dog
2:53:10 that quote was taken out of context for ragebait. The guy said Sony haven't FOSTERED enough original IP since the start. And he's right, just gotta look at all the dead series in this game. Unfortunately.
@@vasiliigulevich9202 How are you going to judge a game series you've never played (the most basic of platformers) when you don't know anything about the game series you're critiquing? Then you compare this to a game series you've never played. For the record, the majority of Mario games are not like this at all, and most of them are 2d platformers.

For anyone who wants these, the preamble starts at 4:03 and the game starts at 51:15

But im guessing that would expose the underneath bit of the rubber? And my question is would that mess with the actual joysticks.
@jjdoughboy2103 I've had it happen a lot it's fine as long as you don't over do it with the alcohol

except for the gold statue, which requires more then 16
Was recommended i believe because of Astro Bot, and all i got to say is that your 4 minute intro was quite good.
48:45 the rattling of the bag woke up my cat 😭
Lime, I don't get a chance to catch you live much, but I dig that you keep the preamble in before the game. Love seeing the chill vibes.

10 years from now everyone will find out that Astro was secretly voiced by Henya
Game of the year
That skull mountain part was driving me insane. Glad you figured it out though
It feels like Laimuquest just keeps getting more awesome.
It's Laimu Bot!
It feels so much that the music that plays in the sandy area was inspired by the desert music for FF X-2.

Unfortunately.

Legally distinct Mario? Meh.
that would only be if the game wasn't trying its hardest to be as charming and as lovely as possible.
which it is.
Guy who has only played 3D Mario: Hmm I'm getting real Mario vibes from this 🤨
@@thatdarnskag5043 I have not played any Mario games. I've tried a couple and hated them immediately.
