What happened to unsponsored videos? It even seems like you have resorted to only posting when you have a sponsor. This is what will slowly kill TH-cam and its creators...
@@cpytYeah I'm here to post that too. I liked this channel so much partially because it's just a person making a video on something they're passionate about. He's not passionate about incogni. @@piratefox49 yeah, note series has always costed a lot here in brazil, maybe less so in the past due to less importing fees, but it's still a lot. After all, the note series was always the one that came with the biggest screen, biggest battery, best specs and best cameras, as well as the spen... until i got replaced by the s ultra series with the s21 ultra.
It's 2024 I bought the Galaxy Note Fan Edition back in 2022 as my traveling phone when I was visiting Dubai lol 🤣 and I still have it around in my house here in USA
Well, so the lesson learned from this phone incident is "don't be 'greedy' with the mAh capacity of the battery", resulting in Samsung now caring about 'battery usage management'. We can see it in Samsung's latest release which now has an 'ultra-saving mode' feature, right? 😉
The Ultra saving mode is been there for since the Samsung Galaxy S5 or something. I remember it on my mom's Note 3 (with Android 5) before when she used to have it
One of the Data Centres I support still has in their “rules”, ‘Galaxy Note 7 phones are not allowed in the data centre and must be left outside the campus’
In my home country indonesia a rebranded version was sold as the galaxy note fe. This was the time where amoled display was exclusive to semi flagship and flagship phone. Nowadays you can buy a phone with an oled screen for the equivalent of 200 dollar.
I remember when I was in high school, I had a friend who ordered one for himself. Luckily, he didn't have issues with his model but was mad because he had to send it back. I remember telling him that they pushed updates limiting the battery charing and helping him disable these features.
I was just thinking about these the other day. Initial reaction is the design is so much better than the current Samsung and most current phones in general. There was an somewhat rare (although unacceptably often) issue with the battery, which they clearly have fixed since, but it doesnt deserve the backlash it got.
NGL, Note7 was my favorite Android phone ever. But unfortunately due to recall, removal of security and software updates announcement, I was forced to return it and given a voucher in exchange to buy a different model + any Samsung accessories for the change 😂
I still have my Note 7, Have this phone since launch... Works perfectly fine.. Never had a single problem with overheating or with battery.. Actually i put battery from the S9 Plus to this phone (Sits perfectly fine insise the phone) Ive completely blocked the Updates on this phone and ya... Great device.
Dumbest thing I seen all day…. Ya let’s run around with a phone with zero security that’s a fire hazard. Especially because at this point a $200 phone would have better hardware lol. Smh
@1TechCritic420lol it’s not even my daily driver 😂😂 Yes I have the Note 7 WITH S9 Battery inside.. which is smaller than the original Note7 battery…. And this simple modification making this phone safe to use…
If you want to use that note 7 all you have to do is flash any of the stock firmware and it will kill ota updates and rescue the handset from the Samsung app that bricks it. There are tons of videos on here showing you how to flash stock firmware. Then you can rock the note 7 ;) I have a note fe and I get offers for it constantly! ❤
that is a note FE,the note 7 has the samsumg logo on the front, they fixed the note 7 and rereleased it as another phone that it wont blow up,not many were produced that's why not many people heard about it
If you for some reason also like frokfrdk that has a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 but in the 60% charge limit update, you can actually remove the 60% charge limit by downgrading it to the green battery update. This is possible because the both the 60% charge limit update and green battery update are in the same binary version number, which is binary version 2. You can watch one of Hugh Jeffreys video where he did the downgrade and restoration with the safe Galaxy Note FE battery on his Galaxy Note 7.
19:29 Yes true, it's a decade ago Samsung launch this pop-up window features since Note 4 and it's one of underrated features that only small percent user use it
That should be my next phone collection but i just got the LG G5 instead, the G5 isnt that bad but the G5 is unrootable in 2024. I know after 8 years people still makes jokes about this phone. But to be serious enough that phone is really good. I really wished i had it but they dont sell it in my area anymore. You were very lucky for getting one by yourself. Edit : I recently updated my LG G5 to Android 8 and it was more usable now. The Note 7 should get the Android 9 update at least but it never get any OS updates not even Android 7. At least you can unlock the bootloader and slap LineageOS 21 on the Note 7. FYI i was having a LG G5 F700K Variant which is unrootable..
Well I was playing American truck simulator and my stupid pc, which should be powerfully enough, though it would be funny, to lag my entire game. And since I was In a bad mood rn, I slammed on my desk and hit my galaxy s7 with half of my hand. That got me even more mad(because it was in the way), that I took the phone, and smashed it really hard with the display first on the desk. After that, the screen staid black and flickerd sometimes a bit. But because I was still really mad, u eventually trow it across my entire room.... Normally, I wouldn't do such things anymore, but something must have triggered me extrem...

Watching this on my Note 7 right now. Great phone, just gets a little warm when charging. Had it since launch. I'm sure everything will be f

u can change the battery anyway and im p sure custom roms exist
At least you managed to hit the enter key while it was exploding.
Same
Bro's Note 7 blew up before GTA 6 😭
Don't forget to BLOCK auto update, otherwise it will automatically update to binary 3 and brick itself (If you want to connect to the internet)
It most likely cant as it is rooted
He said it him self
Wifi isn’t turned on
@NikkerstonI thought it was a way to block updates
@NikkerstonYou are right. When you try to update a rooted device, it blocks it and it tells you it is rooted.
I never expected him to say "This, is a BOMB"
@@delofj I've been wanting to say that exact line for the last 3 years until I got a Note 7
Every brazilian got one of those in some point of life. It's a canon event here in Brazil.
The j7 was more popular, actually.
no, the note 7 is a high end phone lol, note 7 series wasn't very affordable even back then

This video was bomb
the update that limited the battery to 0% may have not made it broken, you just had to keep it plugged in at all times.
It was around this time when it released that I started to become interested in tech
Look how time flies, doesn't seem like its been almost 10 years ago since that happened.
i still have mine kicking there, i installed lineage os and its running smoooth

surprised at how good the photos looked on the note 7, i could barely tell a difference between the 8 pro and the note 7

The fact that the camera quality is just as good as the pixel 8 pro really says something.
Ooh a sponsor! Congrats!

The phone that "blew up" 2016 😂😂😂😂
my mind is shatttered here 12:12 it looks like a totally yet the same scene
Damn shame as well, the S7 Edge remains my most favorite smartphone I've ever had.
The only thing I could have wanted more was the S-Pen and USB-C.
There's something wrong with the left side of the screen on the note 7
The most recalled Galaxy note 7
I can say for certain, the Note7 stills really hold up even against the 8 Pro
Yeah, I'm kinda surprised to see the results.
This video was fire
Yeah i have all colors of the galaxy note FE. Not regretting bying them. All working with no cracks

Btw ur icloud ads tweet was amazing lol
