- Did not expect to actually encounter Jho itself during the expedition so I was caught somewhat unprepared for the fight. To make matters worse, it was even a silver crown Jho which made it even harder for me to hit anything properly with DBs. -- Watch live at / cantaperme92

Saku Roko well like any speed runners there are lot of failures before perfect runs, the satisfaction mostly come from that one perfect run, after hunting a monster like 30 times + you kinda attain that perfection

My first one was gold crown in the ancient forest. Not bragging or complaining, but it was surprisingly difficult. Much harder than I expected, especially considering it was during an azure rath hunt. Very proud of Jho, also considering it failed the quest for me.
I like what they did with him in World. He felt a lot faster to me and I got carted twice. I wonder what they'll do with their other monsters in the future...

Nah the hitboxes of this one is bs asf. I got carted after got hit through a tree by his headbutt. I was like "how tf that hit me?"
That one move where Jho rears up and slams his head into the ground does a ton of damage, if he knocks you onto your back and you see him rearing up, stay down and let your invincibility frames do the work.

I love how Deviljho got those recoil attacks like Odogaron. If you flinch it, it turns it into an attack against you.

I'd rather hunt Jho in the Vale than the Forest tbh. The Rotten Vale was where I first found him and it was amazing. Jho vs Odogaron vs Bomberbro was the most best, chaotic hunt I've had in this game. I didn't even know about the miasma rocks until you mentioned it.

People keep saying Jho is easy. He's 7🌟 if he welcomed us to HR like Bagel we'd constantly Cart. You fought him with endgame weapons and armor and charms and decorations and buffs. Of course he was easy 😂

It's videos like this that make Canta fun to watch. The first encounter, the majesty of fighting a monster for the first time, it's something that simply cannot be captured after the grind. This ritual that makes a player a hunter, its a precious thing that's shared, and Canta's silent battle is a beautiful thing indeed.

jun its just the way I see it is, alot of the movement restrictions in the old game compared to now, is what allows us as the players better opportunities to dodge. If anything, what makes the game easier are the mantles and boosters. I wont discredit what you said, but based on current player levels and experience so far; joe isn't/shouldn't be as difficult if you got end game sets and decs.
While i do think devil jho if ur careless isnt fun, with a regen build and extra health decorations i fail to see how its possible to die against him at all

If you don't fight Jho with augmented gear, he's pretty hard. Even with a maxed nergigante cb (No augmentations) it takes 25-30 minutes to beat. Or I just aren't that good

Remember farming hr jho in MH3 ultimate. Got to the point where I wouldn't lose health cuz his move set was so easy to memorize and his huge hitbox was useless if you camped underneath his legs when he does the tail swipe. Ahh good times. Remember getting so pissed trying to get the jho gem.

Am I the only one who has noticed that Jho's front arms in MHWorld are actually tiny compared to how it's always been up until now? Guess they atrophied or something when it moved to the new world... Would be interesting to see if it's something like that...

They have always been really small, but this time they are basically non-existent! And don't get me started on how the new rage-mode coloration being all black is literally a Shin Godzilla rip-off that looks like the one from that recent movie.

I almost feel like hes more difficult in this game, only because his quad bitey attack can change direction so dramatically. also, he can be freaking hard to hit, so the fight drags sometimes.

That's likely the only time you'll ever see a non-elder dragon fight an elder dragon and that's because those two were together on the same quest for the target monsters.
If we're going to see Deviljho fight any elders we'll likely have to wait for a special quest to be created just that.
kerrowe That’s not exactly true I remember at least 4 times an odogaron fought Vaal Hazak and the odogaron wasn’t a target monster
Yirota I don’t see how this is true, the only quest with both an elder and a regular monster is A Summons From Below, which has Odo and Vaal. Elder dragon quests only have elders on their own, except for The Sapphire Star’s Guidance which has three.

Don't know about finding a Tempered Jho investigation, but there is currently a Tempered Jho event quest called "Relish the Moment" that's HR 50 and has a higher Streamstone droprate.

The Legend 27 I guarantee all your memories of Jho are either when you first encounter it at the beginning of HR when you have shit gear, or Savage Deviljho. Or maybe even Apex Deviljho. It's no wonder he feels weaker to you.
