John Bull by Bachmann, Okay how did this 20 year old Bachmann loco run?

I review a rather rare loco from Bachmann, a model of an 1800's Pennsylvanian loco that was made in the UK, is the oldest working locomotive and a star of Smithsonian collection.

yeh but, I cant get past the fact nothing moves even a diesel has some character. Would be so much better with com rods or even spoke that are visible.
