Very good content. Is it still holding up? Didn't the motor heat up? How long could you run it continuously? Did you use any type of fan for cooling?

I can't find the shaft holder with the extra holes on Aliexpress. Can you maybe send the link again :)? The link in the description doesn't work.

    good!
Small size spindles are hard to find.
The spindle motor of CNC receives a lot of axial force, so how about using thrust bearings?

bro, yore sticking a er collet on a bldc, this has so much runout, since the er clamps with a screw
forget that setup, it will not let you bor than break tooling and a motor😂

Great friend, you also do things like me too.

Oh! Exactly what I was looking for.
I just don't know exactly what the part that puts the c ring on the shaft does.

Wouldn't axial load cause problem with these bearings?

Maybe, but they are cheap. Maybe just replace them.

How do you power it? Those motors take a lot of amperes.

How do you low the energy voltage? Because in Home is 110v/220v

Does it mill hard plasic? Like acryl, if it does what is the best tool diameter?

Could I use a similar bldc motor to drive a bt30 spindle via a htd5m belt? The bt30 spindle is rated for up to 6k rpm and id like a 4:1 reduction to increase the torque. So I'd need a motor that can run at up to 24k rpm

motors like this can run on maybe max 20-50 watt continues, and something like 200 W peak
bt30 spindles ona haas or syil .... have somwhere in the 6-15 KW range, so good luck 😂😂

What is the kv rating? (The link went bad, and I have 4x 1.1kv motors to try...)
