  • In this video I show you how to make the TopsCNC, a Homemade CNC machine, 3 Axes, with a 3D printer.
It is the second machine of this type that I design, improving all the black spots of the first.
For the curious, here is the video of the first Machine: • DIY CNC - Fabriquer un...

All the equipment was purchased online, nothing is difficult to find. (Well, you still need a 3D printer!)
    Specifications:
As for my first machine, this one is controlled by a SHIELD V3 CNC mounted on an Arduino UNO.
    It has a 45cm x 45cm worktop and a Makita RT0700C router / trimmer

Though I'm a year late to this video, here's some tips for anyone building a CNC machine like this:

Great, finally someone uses a 3d printer to do something really useful and beautiful and not just ugly cellphone holders and toys. I signed up and I'm thinking of buying a 3d printer now.

Very impressed. I have one suggestion. Add 0.5 mm to radius of all holes. Drilling scrap perimeters and reduces structural integrity and causes sloppy joints.

Very nice construction. I like it extremely well. The drive with threaded spindle is significantly better than mine with belts. I'm currently building another one, but now I want this one :-D

you are one talented person. This is a fantastic build something I will do myself as I have been thinking about a CNC for a while, I have been gathering some parts all electrical I have a 3-D printer so I will be printing your parts. Thank you very much for a very informative post and thank you for the link to thingy-verse
