Great review. I just picked up Costco's Jackery package which includes both the 290 and 880 units and two 100 watt solar panels. Trying to decide between your AJ40 and the smaller AJ30...hmmm. Just in case of a power outage here in Florida...not really for travelling.
On the money. Advice here: Use ECO for both break in and everyday use. The compressor will last longer. Someday, the evaporator radiator may need to be cleaned of fuzz and fur. Don't block vents at all. Tie a string so the end of the cord doesn't kink at the plug. LED is a better display than LCD. A towel on top will let you sleep.
That fridge must make being on trips so much easier! I've been using a Yeti cooler and it's an ok solution but being able to stock up on food and not having to worry about having to find something decent to eat in a small town on a long trip is such an upgrade. Even better when you're at a campsite for a few days. Loved this video!
I thought it was crazy that you didn't have 10K views on this great video; so here I am. Hey, I was driving near Wal-mart and I saw a guy who looked like the character "Goose" in the movie Top Gun. It was messed up that he got killed and left behind a wife and a child.
Hey I have a question maybe you can help with. I am looking at this. The spot I have is 14 and 1/8 wide - its says like 13.6 wide but I noticed that the item flairs out a bit on the sides midway up. Is the 13.6 wide from the base or from the widest part? My dilemma is the widest part cant be more then 14 and an eight...do you know or can you look?
Well....I didn't actually film a ton haha. I rode a lot of the same places I've ridden in previous videos, so kind of just didn't bother with the camera.
Most mobile fridges look for certain 12 ish or 24 ish volts but won't run on say 18 volts. They are protecting a 12 or 24 volt battery. Getting too inventive can sometimes damage electronics.
Hahaha I love your van videos, I ended up getting the same van. I will take a look at SetPower! Question for you, were you able to charge the fridge and your power station at the same time while driving, or will that overload the system?
Thanks! Congrats on the van. I did charge both the fridge and Bluetti a bit while driving and it was able to power it. I probably wouldn't do it a lot as to not drain van battery, but for the drive to Arkansas it worked well!
SP got their moneys worth. Was not expecting Daily Show level humor from van reviews (still having jon stewart withdrawals). Definitely the vanguard here!
I can vouch for the fridge. Serving up cold ones!! Love it. 🤘
I don't know how I lived without a portable fridge before!

Thank you for the ECO wattage on 12 volts.
You're welcome! Tried to be as thorough as possible!

Even locally this thing is rad! Got cold beverages waiting for the crew!
I enjoy watching all your videos Kyle, even when I'm not in the market for a portable fridge. 👍
haha thanks man! I tried to make this subject matter as entertaining as possible.

I have the F40C4TMP portable fridge which looks just about like yours and I love mine as well.
Nice! Looked it up and does look very similar.

Thanks for this lovely review! LOL! Hope you enjoy it😉
I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's a very sweet fridge, and I appreciate you sending it my way!
Just bought an EB70 as well! Let me know what you think.
"I'm not getting paid to do this review"...but you're getting a $300 or more cooler/freezer! 😂😂
My aj40 handle bar swifts side to side, anyone else do that? Just the bar not the parts that is attached directly to the frig.
Cool video Kyle!
I see what you did there! lol
Great review video!
Thanks I appreciate that!
Wait! A five day trip to Benton? Future video? Oh boy!

Can you plug this fridge directly to a solar panel without needing a power station?

Can you do a video on dirt jump bikes under $800? Pls
Sorry I only do fridge reviews now lol. I don't know a ton about dirt jumpers, but maybe down the road I can do that video!

Have you ever run across Eric Hernandez from Kerrville, Texas in your bike travels?
Is your refrigerator running?
Wait a second...I've fallen for this one before!
probably still can't fit a whole human in there....right?
The average volume of an adult human is about 62 liters...so you'd need two?
@@orchestratedpassage9468 thanks for the info… I guess I’ll need 6 then
This comment thread got dark!
@@CobraKyle careful…. I might order two more
@@ryanrayburn1894 got plans do you?
Power-aid? Bleh!.... Literally the first ingredient is high fructose corn syrup.!
Its Powerade Zero Sugar if that helps put your mind at ease lol
