Hobie Tandem Island Aka Rivet Repair

Just curious as to whether the aluminum rivets have held up. Others claim that you need stainless rivets with the aka bars...

what prompted you to remove/replace all the rivets? My TI has seen 3 summers of use and I wonder if there is internal rubbing such as you show when the parts are dis-assembled. thanks
