that little moment when Dale (very politely!) complimented the woman's outfit at 26:31 was so sweet to me - you can see her in the background glancing back at him and i feel like you could tell she appreciated it... just speaking from experience tho, it always brightens my day up when a stranger says something nice about my outfits, and it's a warm fuzzy feeling that lingers with you :)
i don't know why that bit of the blog made me smile so much
maybe cause i try to say something nice to a stranger whenever i'm out and about
it's a nice reminder to be kind ~

27:07 Unforgettable incident at that shop. We had some coconut juice and a soda lime water there. I had forgotten my pair of new shoes which i had left there. The very next day, early morning i went there but the shop was not opened yet. I got the owner's contact number from nearby shop's owner. called him, had to wait abt 45 minets and that lady in the video (that day her husband was in there) smiled and gave my items saying " you should not be worried, whatever and whoever left their accessories, we'd keep them safe" . I thanked her, owed her my sincere gratitude and returned. I felt very happy that Mr. Dale you visited her. 👍All the best.

I personally enjoying hearing the natural sounds going. I have no way to travel right now and never left the USA but the way you record let's me feel as tho I'm traveling with you my friend.

Hi Dale, thanks for highlighting the garbage disposal problem in Nepal. Nepali people should really learn to take care of their garbage, even in heritage rites many people drink teas/coffee and just throw cups everywhere. Govt of Nepal should put more dustbins in cities, streets, and sites and be strict about penalty of throwing a garbage. And you are absolutely right that it should be taught in schools and hopefully present and future generation will reduce the garbage throwing habits. Hopefully this video will bring some awareness on garbage disposal and problem and nepali ppl will learn to take their garbage back to disposal area.

It's bad in America too. Trash everywhere. Depending on the city you live in, it can be worse. Sometimes they make inmates pick up trash in some places but people still throw it. It's ridiculous.

Sir..Last but not the least, The bravery of the Gurkha army was also one of the reasons that Nepal was never colonized by the British. Initially, the British underestimated Nepal and paid a heavy price.Nepal does not have an independence day, unlike many other nations because of a simple fact - It was never under any foreign invasion..We Nepalese always feel proud of our ancestors bcz they never let anyone to rule our country...

Hi Dale! great video as always, just wanted to let you know, Nepal has never colonized by anyone. The British rulers form India during that time did invade us, but the Nepali Soldiers (Gurkhas) originally from 'Gorkha' district of Nepal alongside the tough Geography of Nepal were too strong even for the British Army. In the end, British Army just gave up and before leaving Nepalese territory, they build few memorials and statues to respect the braveness and skills of the Brave Gurkhas, who later in the future joined hands with the Great Britain's military to form the British Gurkha Army.
I highly recommend you to visit Gorkha Durbar in Gorkha District, the origin place of Nepal, the first unofficial capital of Nepal which holds sooo much history.
