I also had a rattling cap on the right side. I took care of it by crimping the cap a little. Worked well, but I also decided to replace mine with the flush caps. Did it today. Very easy and only took about 20 minutes.
I like those caps! I was wondering how that dummy cap mount would come off and was surprised at how easy it popped right off into your hand. Your mods all look great...
They really clean up the look on your bike. I was looking at these for mine, but had a question. Does the gas cap center part sit higher over the trim than the dummy cap? I’m very picky, so even a little may be a deal breaker if I’m looking at it all the time.
Lenny This may sound silly. How do others view the color of your motorcycle when they see it. I am looking at similar colt but I can’t see it in person?
I have the same bike but in the teal color. I really like those saddle bags protectors. I couldn't really tell do you have bars on the front also? If so, do you ride with your feet up ever? I like the look of it on other bikes but I'm only 5'7" . I wonder if I could reach comfortably ? Lol
I do have the mustache bars in the front (you can see my other install videos). I do not ride with my feet on the bars, but I can reach them. I am shorter than you so I am sure you can reach them :)
I prefer the cap you had on.The flush mount caps are hard to remove when your hands are sweaty,and don't always pop up that easily after awhile.

My left side actually had the gage, but again, easy to swap out.

It sits perfectly flush with the trim.

@@ronaldtaylor4116 No problem. They are mainly used to protect your bike in case of a drop. But they can also be used to put your feet up.
Are the trim rings made of metal or plastic?
