Her vibratos are vibrating through my laptop speakers. Wow. It's like she singing directly into my ears. Incredible singing talent. There'll never be another Karen. Richard is probably still grieving along with the millions of Carpenter fans. An angel whose life was unfairly cut short. But she stills sings to us.
Many people say that Karen relied heavily on Richard's orchestrations. He was certainly very talented at that, but this recording shows that she was utterly wonderful even without any of that.
There is no one in the world who could find a better singer than Karen Carpenter, the tones of voice are impressive, what bothers me a lot is that they did not take care of her as they should, she should not have left us so soon, her life was very sad and it gives us so much joy listening to your songs
From 'Horizon' possibly my favorite Carpenters albums aside from 'Singles' which was a greatest hits collection. And Karen looked gorgeous and healthy on this cover. If only...
That studio microphone she's singing into at 0:30 is a Neumann U-87. One of the best in the business and costs about $3400. It certainly loved Karen's voice!
WOW!!!! In my opinion one of Karen's best vocals! Looove acapella versions and especially for this song. Thank You so much for doing this and posting it!
Lara Fabian is the only female voice that captures me since Karen. Her Je suis malade (French) is the greatest (1994 - live) vocal performance I have seen. She becomes the song, and has difficulty pulling back out after the song is over.
Karen was in a class of her own. Her rendition of Desperado brought tears to.my eyes.
A Star on Earth, A Star in Heaven. 🌟
RIP Sweet Karen ❤️

Karen had one of the loveliest voices in the world. It's so sad that we lost her so soon.

The most beautiful woman's voice I've ever heard. seriously!!!
Her acapella singing totally confirms her status as the 20th century's greatest pop/rock female vocalist. Period.
The timing. The tone. Was Perfection.
Simply beautiful! Just like the singer who's singing it

3-2-23 Happy 73rd Birthday Karen! We Miss You terribly. Lucky to have ppl like You on here to continue to honor the one and only Karen!
This performance is a true work of art, Karen Carpenter's voice should be considered a World Heritage Site.
Oh the clarity in her voice is absolutely beautiful ❤️😊 Xxxxx
Wow, what a voice. First time hearing this rendition of Desperado, outstanding.
Some of the pics and this performance is very precious for me, since I haven't seen/heard them before...
Just Pure Talent, always thought she was the best Singer in my Lifetime…. So so Missed along with Eva Cassidy ❤️❤️
Thank you for Karen's amazing vocal performance. And for the pictures of Karen's amazing beauty.

She was known as “One-take Karen” because she was always perfect, first time, every time!
I agree, far, far away the best singer in the world, the voice of an angel

This is ….. (words not in the English language…) beautiful. The peak time of her voice - so much control

I would like to hear the opinion of Don Henley on this unique and masterpiece of Karen's interpretation
WOW!!!!
In my opinion one of Karen's best vocals!

I’d love to hear someone mash up a mix of this as a duet with Linda Ronstadt. I’d think they appreciated each other’s talent.
Wow, nice find!
Karen Carpenters version? Linda Ronstadts version?
How do you choose?
❤😢
She would have been 73 years old today.
This is only audio only probably should say that in the description
That's what acapella is, LOL.
@@Perfect_Blend a cappella what's that? Should be labeled audio only
?... Richard?...
Where did you get this? How did you do this? Her inhale is erased at the end of many, not all, phrases.
She ain’t alive no more
Man dies twice. The first time, when he leaves the world and the second time when the world forgets about him. So Karen isn't quite dead.
