Bought this keyboard yesterday. The actuation is insanely sensitive it almost feels like I'm typing in a low profile keyboard (which is a good thing). The sound doesn't really bother me as much because I don't get to press the keys too hard since it's very light. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and thumbs up to razer for actually making better products now.

Or at least purple switches if they ever make that available for the Tournament edition :) I returned mine after a week of use since you barely even have to touch the keys for them to register.

I just went and picked up this board after using a membrane keyboard from Corsair... loving it so far. My first mechanical keyboard. First thing that sticks out to me the most is the response of the keys. They are sensitive as hell! I even have to be very deliberate in the way i'm typing this now to prevent typing mistakes. And look at that - the same was just mentioned around the 5 minute mark lol! Besides that i'm loving the actuation point of these keys when it comes to games. When I press a button it no longer feels like I have to damn near bottom the button out to get an input. Split second decisions in games actually matter now lol. Swapped out most of the keys with the HyperX pudding caps for the ultimate unicorn barf RGB shine through... although the clacking of the keys are louder now since these key caps are half as thin as the original key caps. The board was pretty tame in regards to sound with the default keys.
Went and picked up the Logitech 502 Lightspeed mouse alongside it and can't wait to dive into its features a bit more but that's another topic.
(And yes, part of this essay is to get a better feel of typing on this thing lmao)

I have the Huntsman Elite and it's a good keyboard.
But I have a few problems with it:
    - The buttons are small and close to each other, it's easy to fat finger even after half a year of use. I had the Razer Tarantula previously and I never missed the buttons with that.
    - The keys are extremely loud and the whole house can hear me typing.
    - The keys are to easy to press, not enough counter force. I found myself pressing space or shift when I didn't intend too. I couldn't feel my fingers pressing it down.
    - If you lock your PC Synapse loses it setting and the lighting goes back to default. It's annoying at night.

I used it for a little over two months before I couldn’t take the actuation anymore. I went through the whole learning curve and got used to it for gaming and typing as everything mentioned in this video. After plugging in my apex 7 with browns again it’s just such a better experience all around. I would every so often still accidentally hit keys while resting my fingers and it just gets old. I was perfectly happy with it but all it took was trying a slower heavier switch again to know this wasent for me. Sad because it’s a really nice keeb. My thoughts.

Transfixing. 23 pistil-orange Additional Textured orange rubber shine through caps on the way to me, 6 green tinted rainbow stainless steel WASD and arrow keys also coming. Working on ideas for a design to paint the frame. In case u hasn't guessed, I'm going for a classy ganja theme. Probably a lagoon landscape. *Dampeners added for faster quieter strokes and it was already buttery smooth.

I used mechanical keyboards with brown, red, and blue MX cherry switches so I doubt I would like the sound. I use only the TKL keyboards to save my carpal tunnel (this works well for me). Thanks for the review. Not too long but very informative, not the silly unboxing video and reading some specs of the box. Keep up the great work!😀

I’ve got the razer huntsman te and I can personally say that’s it’s great my first ever razer keyboard but it’s very durable and has survived many a punch. The switches are good and responsive but
the small actuation distance means I accidentally press keys when laying my hand on the keyboard but overtime I’ve adapted to it and it happens less often. The typing experience is good But I often find ill accidentally clip a key which will type the character which can be annoying. The keys noise is sometimes annoying but most of the time I can’t hear it as I have headphones on so it hasn’t bothered me that much. Overall worth the buy just be mindful it takes some getting used to.

I had the full 10 key Huntsman. It was a thing of pure joy and luxury to touch. Loved it from its touch/aesthetics (the cold metal frame felt amazing). However two major flaws in it, the accidental button presses would drive me insane. Barely touching a key would cause it to trigger (oh no, you DIDN'T want to jump off that ledge over and over again!? Sorry!!). Secondly, it broke. Sorry but I've abused keyboards for years and never had an issue. One of my keyboards lasted me through nearly 12 years of heavy abuse (drunken Uni spills, 6 house moves, being dropped, bashed, food smushed into it) but this one was treated like nothing short of a show piece and broke after just a few months of use, like fully FU I no longer work kind of not working.
Also... don't use it when there are other people in the room (like me, sorry wife and kids) it's a bit of a di**ish move because it is extraordinarily loud. Personally I thought it sounded fab and was the reason I wanted it, for proper long haul report and book writing but it's genuinely awful for anyone else in the room.. or house.

I got the Huntsman TE last month after both versions for Razer BlackWidow Chroma TE failed on me (V1 after 6 months and V2 after 1.5 years) because of dust issues. Hoping this one lasts.
Adjusting to the feel of the switches has been interesting as I was used to the Razer Green Switches for so long, and accidental keypress because of your fingers resting on the keys was definitely an issue in the first few weeks.
But overall, I'm liking this keyboard a lot more compared to the BlackWidow TEs I had, and I've actually grown to like the sound since it's a lot quieter compared to the Razer Green switches and I'm sort of getting used to not hitting the keys too hard because of the low actuation force required (I'm a software engineer so have to do a lot of typing).

@UzEEInc how is it now? Did you get used to the actuation force?

@@theendurance it's working great so far. I'm a developer so I type a lot and the actuation force often leads to typos. And in games I still sometimes find me self drifting in the wrong direction because I was resting my finger on a movement key.
But I have more trouble now when I use a keyboard with clicky switches, so overall I'm happy with it.

pbt keycaps, pretty clean design, standard bottom row are great, price is decent, but boy is it loud/noisy..
Overal it's a nice improvement over their past boards imo.
The sticky keys thing is your fault for not having that disabled yet...

spacebar is pretty bad, it does'nt work if you press on the left or right of it, the space enters into account if you press it in the middle !
