I saw Gregory Porter in October 2021 at the Royal Albert Hall. Absolutely blown away. There really is nothing like listening to a musician who is truly at the top of his game. And not just Gregory. The entire band was spectacular.

Breathing, ups and downs in harmony, it is not possible to imitate this naturalness, and a lots of pain, happyness, longing, .etc experience are required to say this style. Hi Beth, Firstly, I have to say that it is so refreshing to see that someone as young as you has such, as Sting himself might say, fuddy-duddy views on music. 😉 … to err is human and sometimes those mistakes sound better than what the composer initially intended. How else are we going to learn? lol: my athletic days may have ended years ago, but I couldn’t live without music being in my life. The Polar Prize, Sting, his wife, the King of Sweden, and Tomas Ledin’s ability to take it all in. One of my favorite videos of all time.
