Our experience has been the coating seems to last about a year before you visibly notice it isn't repelling water anymore. Kyle's pricing model is an initial application fee and then quite a bit less cost to perform a yearly refresh application. Overall I am very pleased with the results and will continue every year.
That guy and his team did a great job! Mariage saviors for sure ! This is definetly an address to keep, unbelievable they did that in 4 days! I am just amazed by that ceramic coating! Thanks for sharing that with us.
If anyone thinks this is expensive we charge 600+ for normal size cars. 2k is cheap. Pricing For a airstream is 2k-5k. If the clear coat is failing and needs to be stripped bare aluminum has to be polished with jewlers rouge then ceramic coated its 10k-14k.
We just got the Airstream ceramic coated again and a little more resto work done, in the next day or two we're going to post it. They really do great work.
No, the scratches we superficial and didn't require a new clear coat thank goodness. This is super fortunate since we discovered in E4.7 that nobody will apply clear coat to the Airstream anyway, even after contacting four vendors.
Exceptional! After a trip I take it to the pressure wash and the water and grime still sheet off beautifully. Honestly the best thing I ever did for the trailer.
It cost about $2000. We didn't put that in the video because there's no fixed cost - it depends on the number of windows, length of the trailer and the kinds of treatments you choose. To get an exact quote contact Bulldog Detail and give them dimensions, photos and they will discuss cost and options.
Trailer $100,000 Plus 2% of cost for basically a “fancy” wax job.......no thanks. My A.S. is 6 years old and has approx. 40k miles on it. Full HAND wash twice a month since new and stored in a garage when not in use. 2K? 😂

Have you tried this ceramic coating on a polished airstream?
Can you please update the status of your ceramic coating after a couple of years?

Thanks for this! Very well done video and informative. They did a great job of explaining; and, you are a wise woman!
As a previous detail company owner- these guys are the real deal. Incredible job!
GTECHNIC very good coating, great video!
Totally awesome job! I love it.

Don't feel too bad. I did it too. By myself. 2-person job always.
After sanding out the scratches, did they reapply a clear coat?

@@AirstreamMTB I have similar scratches on one side. I have buffed them and they are better, but I’m afraid of going too deep.
So 6 months later how do feel about the ceramic coating?
Exceptional! After a trip I take it to the pressure wash and the water and grime still sheet off beautifully. Honestly the best thing I ever did for the trailer.
@@AirstreamMTB thanks for the update!
Have to put their number in my book :)
Great!
But, the question is.....
How much did it cost?
