I sailed the Dahlia in 2022 and it needed some updates and improvements with the food. Glad to see they listened. P.S. I stayed in room 401 and the bar noise could be heard if you didn’t close the main hallway door.
Interesting. I’m not sure we had anyone specifically in 401, but I asked every guest if they heard noise and they said no. Maybe they’ve made massive improvements, which would be awesome. We only had 24 people on our cruise, so it’s very likely we didn’t have anyone near the bar. I could imagine if there was loud entertainment and you wanted to chill that you could hear the noise while that was going on. I think on our specific cruise everyone was in bed close to 10 or 11, but when I went to France I know people stayed up all hours in the bar!
I was not paid to make this. I don’t like include pricing because so much travel pricing is dynamic meaning the trip costs different amounts depending on the room and the time of year. I then get in trouble for saying something like “this trip cost $6000” when a few months later is “$12,000” or “$2000. Our room (211) was just above $6000 per person when we went. It’s definitely not a “budget cruise” but something worth saving up for.
Hello . Great video. Any compliments of noise from cabins located right next to the lobby area from your fellow shipmates? Specifically since others may have to walk through to get to their boat.
I was two doors off of the lobby and I heard nothing in the lobby. To the best of my knowledge, no one walks through your boat at night, at least not while I was there. The only time we had anyone walking through our boat was when we were docked at a really shore excursion hop off, which was always during the day. I also heard NOTHING from the engines or other boats and didn’t smell anything either. I watched other videos that made me so scared I actually cried and considered cancelling my trip, but we experienced NOTHING and I asked other guests about noise and fumes at night and they thought I was weird for asking about the noise because it was such a non-issue. I considered addressing the noise (or in our case lack thereof) in this video , but decided not to, because if not for the other videos I watched, noise and fumes wouldn’t have even crossed my mind because they just weren’t there for us or ANY of our fellow travelers. I didn’t want to make a video directly responding to anyone else’s video, just to be honest about our experience.
@@TheMeganDaily Thanks so much for responding to my question. I too watched other videos that had me concerned about noise levels and fumes. I am close to putting a deposit on the AmaLilia and did not want to have any remorse doing so. I have saved all your Nile River cruise videos and will watch them, again and again, before my trip. I like your energy and look forward to your other content as well!
@@arlisahyeah, maybe I’ll post a short where I went to the top deck as we were double docked at night and recorded the noise. I know I’m live in Manhattan, but I really didn’t detect much noise. I was told that if you’re ESPECIALLY sensitive avoid the lowest level front of the ship.
@@arlisah awww thank you so much! Feel free to ask any questions you may have! I didn't sail the AmaLilia, but I was told it's even more amazing than the AmaDahlia as it's newer.

looks very much like sponsored content, would be nice if you could disclose the financials of this trip.

Also note: there is also a slightly different price if you're traveling solo versus with a companion.
A skilled travel Advisor can assist you with your request. I do recommend making sure the person you select is AMA certified and experienced.
