    I know this is very situational and everyone’s different but a video breaking down good communication tips for doubles matches would be really much appreciated.

    I'm an experienced player. I have taught several of my grandchildren to play tennis. These are great tips for an amateur coach. The temptation is to teach only stroke technique. Ian, the most important point you make is that a tennis mindset is important for beginners, too.

    I’m going to be playing tennis soon in school! I’ve never played tennis before, but hopefully this’ll help me out a lot!

    The no man's tip massively helped me, especially with my backhand has ive been wrapping my arms around my body to try hit the ball in the most awkward position while attempting to move backwards into position. thank you

    Awesome video! I started lessons last fall and am really enjoying this channel. I am guilty of staring down the ball after I hit, always wanting to make sure it stayed in! Good for me to know I need to kick this habit and focus on getting ready for the next return.

    Nice tips! A year later but I have a question. Maybe a stupid question but Where is the best place to actually hold the racket? At the end or higher up? Or simply just in the middle? And also how tightly should you grip? Tighter or more loose?

    • @praintt
      @praintt 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      loose grip is good but don’t do it too loose
      hold the racket at the end for more power and accuracy

    Extremely helpful video. Im a newbie started tennis 3months ago off and on, and jst started playing adult 3.0 usta tournament. 2 decades ago, I played amateur with friends exactly how it was in the example video learning wrong moves that now I need to unlearn.Just came across your channel. I must say you guys are excellent instructors, the way you breakdown steps, mistakes and corrective actions with your markers really makes it easy for me to grasp. Just subscribed to your channel.
    Looking forward to similar tips for a doubles play🙏

    LOL - first thing is a comment about foot faults. Given the discussion, controversy and Ian working on this recently that's pretty funny. Good stuff! But as always, thanks for the breakdown!
