If there was confusion at the post on first strike at 12 mid night then the call of attack had been transmited to command. But Pak army didnt take any action till 2nd strike at 6 30 in the morning. Gen please tell the truth.

AFSPA enacted in 1958 gives power to the army to shoot to kill,search houses,arrest without warrant, destroy any property that is likely used by insurgents in DISTURBED AREAS declared by home ministry. DISTURBED AREAS are those where there are differences or disputes between members of different religious,racial, language or regional groups or castes or communities. AFSPA IS NECESSARY to maintain law and order in DISTURBED AREAS , otherwise things will go haywire.the law also dissuades or dispirits the terrorist activities in these areas. BUT JUSTICE JEEVAN REDDY COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED AFSPA should be revoked or repealed and UAPA should be strengthened to fight militancy. Sc bringed AFSPA under investigation.
