It certainly is, I've only been twice, in the last 14 years last being 2021, and the time before that 2009 crazy how time flys by, very good day out and a very nice scenic railway

Hi Tom, you had good weather for that day out I did like the livery on the Welsh steel saddle tank loco was it a J94 enjoyed the video cheers Al

cheers Al i think cumbria is a j94 but 401 vulcan was a bagnall i think only 3 of this loco existed the other survivor is viktor at the lakeside haverthwaite railway and thats been done in furness railway livery. th-cam.com/video/QO08VirJGOI/w-d-xo.html

16:52 I can't imagine that the Class 37 needs the water tower 😂😂😂

very true lol, i think the other siding became out of action because of the class 20 derailing on it so i think it switched to the rear siding, thanks for watching. Tom

Em say, been told it’s to be used as a Gbrf loco maintainence location

i didnt now that, wouldn't really make sense unless they connect it back upto the network at Skipton, would be good though

How long is that line? Class 20 and class 37 sound amazing, love the little industrial tank engines that they have down there.

Hi John the line is about 4.5 miles long, it's certainly good on gala days as the trains come and go pretty much continuously and its a nice scenic journey, thanks for watching, much appreciated. Tom

If I were able to visit the railway, I'd make sure only the steamies were running. Although, if I had to, I'd swallow a ride behind a stinky diesel down my throat, like a bottle of nasty-tasting medicine. Shame on you for not riding behind a steamy, lol.

Don't worry I had plenty of rides behind the 2 steam locos running, I do prefer the sound and smell of steam locos, vulcan sounded like an American railroad steam loco when it whistled but I do also like the sounds of a class 37, thanks for watching. Tom 🙂
