Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway - Diesel Gala (Part 1 of 3) 12/10/14

Sunday 12 October 2014. Part 1 of 3. An enjoyable day spent at Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway's Diesel Gala. The day started out foggy but thankfully the sun came out around lunchtime. Impressive performances from the timetabled locos D5600, D9513, and 37294 which has received an extensive bodywork overhaul and repaint into BR blue. Class 08 shunter D3941 also featured running brake van rides between Embsay Station and Bow Bridge loop.
