    I bought 2 with a diverted kit. Connections leak like a sieve . I have to hire a pool guy now to possibly hard pipe the heaters.

    What fittings did you use after the adapters? I live in Canada & the local pool people have no idea how to connect the Solar Pro Curve to these "not common" adapters

      Rubber “Fernco” fittings work great to adapt 1 1/4” flex to 1 1/2” PVC. The lock nut fits in the groved portion of the fitting which doubles as a gasket so there’s no need to buy expensive fittings from Intex. I completely hard-piper my pump, sand filter and salt-water system using 1 1/2” PVC and relocated all my mechanical out of the elements. I did use the supplied flex hose where the inlet and out flow attach to the pool liner as the pool was designed to flex. The installation looks great and I’m pretty sure that it will increase the longevity of the mechanical systems being out of the weather.

      No I set this up on the outake valve and I also setup a bypass if I like to turn off options

    Hi there, I have the same solar panel. It's been the second summer, and it does the job, but it is already leaking from the back -not from the fittings, surprisingly- The material this thing is made from is quite cheap though, have you run into this..? I have some ideas, but I wonder if you already had this, how do you fix it? if you don't mind me asking...Thanks!

    • @Upgradetech
      @Upgradetech  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes I remove the plastic cover and I put silicon to cover the leeks

    • @OscarGDiaz
      @OscarGDiaz 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the answer. Any particular Silicon..? I was thinking of PVC (plumbing) glue, but I am afraid of damaging the panel though..thanks again!!

    Hello! Is it possible to raise the temperature of the pool by up to 10 degrees when placed in a glass envelope?

    • @Upgradetech
      @Upgradetech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can if you lived in California or any region you have a good sunny day. Or you can add two of them if needed.

    I appreciate the effort, but I'd give a friendly suggestion to take a course on making videos. I was getting dizzy just watching as the camera kept flying back and forth which made it hard to follow.

    Do you think it worth it? Overall how many days will it take to get it 10 degrees higher ?

    • @Upgradetech
      @Upgradetech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not worth it because it takes lots of space and it lowers the pressure on the pump.

      These things do not work. I had 2 of them and it mad zero difference in pool temp. If it was not for the intex cheap solar mats exploding those were of use then these.
