Hey Man, how good is the bike on the highway, i really want to test drive it on highway but the dealer is not located on such a place where i can test the bike out, how is the bike really after 120 Kmph, i am assuming that i will mostly curse at 100 KMPH on a highway
@@priyadarshivyas2233low vibrations at 120 which wont bother u .. its the type of vibrations that u r gonna enjoy n it will ask u push more… anyways far better than 450s vibrations.. i test rode 450 its a gud bike but too much vibrations n lacks low end torque .. also its heavy.. try to find some other dealer n take it on highways or rent speed 400 for few hrs from some online rental services
You will thank God if you are on this bike whether you are in city or on highway during long ride. This bike is a perfect blend of smooth riding and aggressive pickup riding. Sometimes you feel like going ahead of everyone then this bike is for you. Just a little rev and it will get you off 😅

Here in Mumbai we group of owners had a healthy meeting with Bajaj R&D/Teachnical team along with Triumph. And later after a week we heard the good news about firmware update, and yes we feel the difference. Here many owners updated the firmware and none of them has faced the stalling issue later on. The difference is that, now the RPM stays stable while pulling the clutch, which was not there earlier, and even also there's a difference in pickup as well. However, we said to the Triumph SC & Bajaj team will complete 100+kms and then share the feedback. Even I shared your (@travelbite stalling wala video for their (triump&bajaj) reference. Thanks.. I have just updated the ECU and I feel the RPM is stable as you said. Before it used to stall on me many times so embarassed in traffic. Even when we gear down from higher gear to 2nd the RPM used to spike even im not giving any throttle. I hope the stalling issue is fixed. BTW what glove do you use for a city as highly ventilated?
I have just updated my speed 400 software update I feel now when ever we press clutch on 2nd or 3rd gear rpm is increasing now 🤣 without even raising the throttle
I have ridden my Speed 400 for 5 months almost and more than 3000 kms and I never had the stalling issue. RPMs were always stable and I even tried to lug the engine to test it. I think the issue started popping up a couple of months after deliveries started (when I got mine) and those who got the bike then probably got the faulty firmware. Glad to see there is a solution for them now.
Sir you are lucky that thats the only issue, my scrambler 400x is having multiple issues: 1. Coolant leak- service personal says it is overfill of coolant but that is not true. I did not had even first service but it spills coolant every time it heats up after like 30 mins of continuos driving in city.2. Same the engine dies for no reason on low rpm when clutch is just pressed. 3. Engine head symbol represented by a temperature symbol on the console.4. Engine makes a ticking noise seems something is wrong with the engine. 5. Something on the front side of the bike rattle a lot above 45 km/hr speed. it is very irritating. Service center is not interested in solving this and trying to push all this under rug.

I remember stalling issues were prominent on duke and adv 390s. Some people found solution by changing the spark plugs or spark plug wire. There was corrosion on factory spark plug 🤦♂
Hi, Thanks for sharing the information that ECU update arrived. I got my Speed 400 firmware updated after seeing your video but still facing the stalling issue. On low RPMs the issue is still there. The service centre is quite far too from my place, can help me how can I raise a complaint regarding my bike at Triumph delhi outlet.

Hi, loved ur v logs. Just want to update i got my 1st service done on Triumph scrambler 400X and Engine stalling issue is resolved. ECU was updated during the service and now there is no stalling of bike at any gear. I felt this was the only issue, otherwise Scrambler is an amazing machine, so go for it guys. 😊
I purchased this bike on October… travelled over 2500km+ … did not face this stalling issue. I faced an issue of false neutral… 2nd to first gear. It used to go to first then suddenly would switch back to neutral.

@@Pawa6 CB300R is faster until 100km/h, is lighter and more agile, there are drag races on youtube. Triumph has better design better exhaust sound imo. It also looks more substantial, but you'll have less problems with CB in the long term. Look at Bajaj made KTM 390s from the past and how many issues people report with them, won't find as many with CB300R.
Just after watching the video I called the Triumph Service Center Guys..But they are telling no update released in January and as I updated the ECU on 20th December last according to them that’s the latest they have..But i still got the stalling issue and fluctuating RPM so what am i gonna do now? Pls someone suggest 😢
@@travelbite i called them again and what they are telling is that the last update was for the fuel gauge error resolution and according to them there is no such ECU problem that is causing the stalling, according to them it’s being caused because of clutch cable getting loose and proper adjustment can only resolve it. Either they don’t know how this issue is to be resolved or they are not taking this product and their customers seriously. I think i have made a bad purchase 😔.

Hello Manish bhai, after seeing your videos I purchased speed400, no doubt it's an amazing machine. I have been facing some issues with engine noise, it's making very weird noise after first service as if something is broken inside. Also alot of engine stalling issue, I am even not getting fuel average for some reason. I visited the Naraina service center twice but they denied of any issues and didn't helped me. Even I am a very safe rider I dont ride my bike too rash. I am very disappointed as the engine is not performing well due to some reasons. Now I am planning to visit guragon service center may be they will be able to help me, if not I will probably sell the bike and buy himalayan
@@parthapradipdas1656 I visited the service center and they checked the bike, they have asked me to leave the bike with them coz it's going to take time to diagnose the issue, it seems they are going to open the engine coz they were looking scared and did not talk in front of me. I have done the ecu update also, bike is smoother, engine stalling issue has gone for now. I will visit the SC again and will drop the bike with them for repair.
I also faced the exact same issue. Thoda relieved ki its not an engine issue and I'm not the only one facing this. But my silencer and aluminium parts are already showing signs of rust. Is there anyone else facing this as well?
Ha ha when I informed them they even not considered after 4 trials now they have solution for same. It’s all about how you handle situations and they were too ignorant at that time.

Got the update done. Haven't rode much since then but Stalling issue seems to be gone.

Update is available for scrambler also. After updating the ECU throttle became smoother and lesser jerk when releasing the clutch.

Fluctuation of rpm can be a sign to clean throttle body.. the same happened with my Gixxer 250 too..

Could be there is a problem with the speed sensor not responding and calculating the proper speed. 🤷 Software should be updated

My speed 400 only had fuel indicator issue, but after software update it's gone now.
