4:06 A fourth movie would have to be a super happy fun movie with a happy ending -- I wouldn't be able to stand a sad ending or any kind of arguing or bitter conflict, I just wouldn't be able to take it, it would make me so sad... even the ending of Before Midnight, I wanted it to be more happy...
I think the first three movies work so well because jumping from 20-something to 30-something to 40-something offers three very different human realities. Going from 40 to 50 isn't that stark of a difference, I think. They would inevitably be covering similar ground to what they did in Midnight. Maybe once they're in their 60s they'll feel they have something new to tell.
It has probably outlived itself sadly. Delpy put her foot in her mouth stating in an interview she wished she was black because itd be easier than being an A-list white actor. She brought so much to these Before roles, but after all said and done, I think shes always been a hurt, PO'd person: for a time she offered her pain in a form that reached a lot of people. Shes mad about something she'll never get over. Thank you Julie Delpy for giving your best to conveying the hurt you have inside of you.
A fourth movie should have been made. Can’t believe the three of them couldn’t come up with a script. That may have been the best of all three. Definitely let the fans down. Sooooo sad.😢
Why do you make us read the questions??? So annoying. We want to hear the conversation, the voice of the interviewer. Without the voice of the interviewer, half of the conversation is missing, it really ruins the entire interview.
It's strange that, especially, Julie Delpy ends the hope for a 4th 'Before' movie. Because she was a bit obsessed, at least about the concept; going with the other movies she has made.🤭 Or maybe it was an obsession with Ethan Hawke, she is French; so who knows?🤣🤫 Seemingly the inspiration has dried up somehow, while there are so many options left; as far as I can see... Like, for example, why don't they let 'Celine' have an airplane crash and have a NDE; in which she gets to meet her deceased grandmother? I mean her grandmother was, more or less, some kind of Miss Havisham, right?! Maybe they could walk around in Budapest, doing their thing? Maybe they should name the movie:'After Midnight'?🤔 Enough loose ends there/ everywhere, at least imo...🤗
