Thanks for the video, I just helped a friend change his pads and were confused on how to remove the calipers. Your video made it easier. Thanks again for the help.
New "pins" and anti rattle clips cost about $10 at the auto store, I know I just got some. Use the anti rattle clips and the piston pad will wear evenly. They are there for a reason.
Placement of the pins IS required to be put in correctly. Top of the caliper nipples up, the bottom of the caliper nipples down. Use a flat screwdriver to drive them out and in.
Why did you skip the hardest part .... I've always been a Chevy guy and I got this Ford now and I was wanting to see if there's any tricks to a Ford.. first trick is not to buy a Ford I know but

I wanted to see you knock out the pins holding the caliper on.

I want to see how I can get the caliber out
The pins just slide out. I use a flathead screwdriver and a hammer to push them through.
*caliper
How did you remove the caliper pins? Would have been nice to see.
Just punch them out, they're easy
You change up which pad goes on which side by the way.
A 3/8 in drive inpact extension works great for the pins
Nice work. One question is the truck bagged or are you using the bags for another reason ??
hustleminds it's just normal air ride/lowered.
Ok cool , I have the same model but haven't seen none with a front bagged kit
You won't. Compared to a Toyota/GM an I Beam Ford is extremely expensive to bag
I CANT BELIEVE YOU PUT A VIDEO ON HERE AND DIDNT SHOW THE REMOVAL OF THE SLIDE PINS ????
Why didn't you show how to put the brake pad on instead of just talking???
I have an 88 f350 with the same calipers but my brake pads both look identical to each other
Small pad goes inside, larger one outside, then proceeds to tell us the inside has this thing on it. Wtf?
Didn"t show removing pins to release caliper.
A lot of talking and not a lot of showing
Should've just showed the work instead of telling us about it. Thanks anyways
Talked too much. Never showed how to change the pads
I wasted ten minutes on this because you didn't show how to put the clips on.

Horrible Video
