An Ebike is exactly what I need to keep riding. I did a ton of shopping and the M2S R750 is amazing for the price and as a Cruiser and Grocery-getter its exactly what I was looking for. Will update the review when I have some miles on it.
Largely based on this review I ordered an R750 and I'm very happy with it. Ordered beginning of July and got it Monday 8/7. Some key details and thoughts: - Easy to assemble. One catch: the plastic protectors the front wheel hub need to be removed carefully. I snapped off the plastic fingers and had to drill them out! - USB port works great. The bike doesn't have to be on for it to work so I now have a very large (and expensive) battery pack for picnics and camping :). - Rear light now integrated. The review bike only had battery-powered lights on the rear and was one of the key negatives in this review, but that has apparently been resolved since the light on the rear rack is now powered by the main battery and turns on when the headlight does. - Gearing is great. After watching this review I was worried that the hardest gear wouldn't present enough of a challenge at the higher speeds, but it is excellent. On rides to and from work (I've done two) I have mostly been in the second hardest gear with pedal assist 7 (of 9) going 23-25 mph. So there is still room to crank it harder, turn up the assist, and hit 28-31mph. I hit 31.5 when the battery was freshly charged. - Battery lasts nicely. I got 31 miles on my first full discharge and they recommend 3 full charges and discharges so it might get even better. Definitely recommended!
I'm 155 and probably 180 with backpack, but I also put my son in an iBert on the handlebars so I probably have close to 210 on the bike as well. I'm on my second battery charge and it looks like I'll be getting at least 30 miles again. Hopefully it is just a bad battery that they can switch out for you. Make sure you do the full discharge and recharge 3-4 times to exercise the capacity to see if it expands.
It is now 8/30 and I have ridden it to work every day so far, so 19 straight days. I have done 210 miles on it and it is rolling strong. I am going to take it into a bike shop to get them to service/straighten the brakes since they are still chattering a little. Everyone who tries this bike has a positive reaction. I might have to do my own TH-cam video about it to provide an owner's perspective... :)
Jason Pereira the motor is geared to favor the high end rather than the low end, so it can be slow from a standing start, but you can use pedal power to help get it going. It will fly up hills once it is rolling at least 5 mph :)
I have a M2S All Go Carbon for about a year now. So fun to ride, no problems, my friends all want to ride it. Excellent response from company, they never hesitate to answer any questions. I opted for carbon fork instead of suspension fork to keep weight down. I did put on a RedShift Shock Stop suspension stem (great product fyi) to take any little road harshness out. Great value and product from M2S...

I bought one of these bikes back in mid 2017 and had it delivered to France. I liked the design, price point and level of components compared to the direct competition (i.e. volt). I have really enjoyed riding the bike when its been working properly but I have had many problems. First problem was the front light not working on delivery, thats the small issue. The issues got a bit bigger from there, multiple brake failures (the brakes were not really up to the job, I don't know if they have been upgraded in new models but I ended up paying to upgrade them myself to shimano). The biggest issue I had was the frame cracked and M2S had to send me a new frame, I then had to get the bike rebuilt on the new frame (which M2S covered but then found that some of the allen key fittings were threaded). I had quite a few blown fuses and then the entire battery failed (M2S sent me a new battery). I have had 2 seat post fixing issues as well. I don't know if I have been unlucky but needless to say ownership has not been that enjoyable given it was off the road for 6 months of the first year. Its cost me more than I had hoped but is it a case of you just get what you pay for ? The support from M2S blew hot and cold , after so many issues you kind of feel you're being a pain, its kind of embarrassing. Although this bike looks like it can go anywhere , I would recommend easy trails and road use, its not up to anything more without risk of mechanical failure IMHO. When it works its great and fun but when your just waiting for the next failure it makes you a bit paranoid when you are out cycling. I have had to be rescued a few times (wife loves that!) as it weighs about 29kg with battery so really tough to ride without PAS.
14:00 two holes and a zip tie will fix that to the rack, but yeah, miss in design. I really like this bike! I bought a Fuji Sanibel Cruiser with 250w rear as my first eBike test as a heavy 300# rider, modified it to be more mountainbike-ish, but I really want a off-road trail worthy eBike. This M2S bike has almost everything I would want: rear drive, heavy spokes, hydralic brakes, hardtail...
Gearing --- With both my olde school 43cc motorized bike and my Motorbecane Mirage geared fixie, I often experienced the gearing of the bike not keeping up with the speed of the bike.... can't pedal any faster. I remove the 3 gears on the front drive and replace with a single 52 tooth. This loses alot of weight and you can assist the motor past 30mph. This will put the top end closer to 40mph.
I ordered the M2S All Go Carbon bike on Wednesday, July 17th and it's scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, July 24th. I'll post again after I've had a chance to evaluate.
Ebikes gives you church bell size balls to go ANYWHERE!!!! I got this exact looking bike a month ago, but the R500. It was on sale for $1199 💃 I've put 307 miles on it, and I've dropped 11lbs. Mostly long slow rides on road/paved trails. I've tried it on a Mountain trail - it was my first time ever and the bike took it all. Mostly PAS 3-5. Difference from the one in the video: 500W, hence the name. 48v 10h Suspension but no lock The shifter is the top one not the bottom one. No rack / fenders. Mechanical brakes ( switching to hydraulics ASAP)

Yah! I have been interested in M2s bikes for a long time when they came out with a very cool looking Carbon framed E-bike with a Bofelli motor mid-drive . Very reasonably priced, but not sure of the quality. This bike looks nice for the $$. Thanks for reviewing.
Efatbikes are great. Mine goes 15 miles at 20 mph throttle only . more if I pedal. And more if I slow down. Walk mode is great for going up stairs if you live upstairs. And the tires offer mega grip. Little noisey at speed though. You can get a rear bike rack and get a identical battery a extend the range. A seriously good option. Only downside I can find. Ebikes are thief magnets. Get a good ubolt lock and maybe a light chain also.

Almost same as Voltbike Yukon 750. I believe a lot of these bikes are made at same production facility, in China, for various North American companies.
@@ZigTek I ended up buying neither. This was gonna be a second e bike because I have a Sondors step on pre order for July. I was just gonna get another bike in the meantime. I decided to wait on the Sondors bike and go from there. Probably gonna wait till black Friday to get one of these.
Agree. Its pretty much the same bike. But he mentioned at about 33:40 that this 48v 16mah can go up to 28mph (44.8 kph) and I think that's BS. At full charge, I can get my 2020 Yukon 750 Limited 48v 17mah to constantly hover at about 37.7 kph (topped 39.4 for a second). What can you get on yours?
I ordered one on July the 2nd, still haven’t gotten my shipping information. Today is the 10th and my bike was in stock. Keep giving me the in two or three days thing. Not worried about it. Zabreal yeah mine came late too. They will ship it. The wait is well worth it. I have 1,600 miles on my R750 All Terrain. I ordered mine in March of 2018, they said early April, but i got mine May 2. I get 30 miles a charge ,at 25 mph. I can get more distance by slowing my speed down. I always use pedal assist but at 25 mph I am not pedaling at all. Lol
This is certainly a candidate for my next step up. Speed upgrade and not a bad price at all. Great review! If you guys think about it, it would be cool to see a quick test of the USB charging on those style batteries. I have the same Reention branded 48v battery on my X-Treme Rubicon, and I just found out yesterday that the charge port doesn't work. After a quick search, I find I'm not alone. Some have even opened the shells up, to find no wires even running to the charge port : )
"Speckly reflective bits" = "metalic" paint. :) Just started looking at this bike today, and it's quickly rising to the top of my list of candidates for my first ebike purchase. I sent a text to their support team with a question, and got a response in about three minutes. No one else has come close to that. EBR guys --- it's all well and good to indicate where the controller is, but we can see that already. What would be more helpful would be to disclose what the amperage rating on the controller is. I think this is the first review I've ever seen where someone took the time to provide night shots so viewers can get a sense of the headlight's performance. Thanks for that. It looks like the trip meter does NOT reset every time you turn the bike off, which is GREAT. Having access to the throttle in all PAS modes is also cool. Walk mode --- check. The headlight seems pretty sketchy, but that's not rocket science to replace with something better. The headlight on the RipCurrent S is a "yeah, baby" of 1050 lumens. Is it possible that the fact you're outrunning the gearing is due to the unusually small 38 tooth chainring? Beware the shipping costs - they're not included, and can run several hundred dollars. Military discount is 5%, which is about half what most companies offer. So, the net cost could be $400-500 higher than you think.
Looks like a fun bike alright. The only thing I would do is see if I could alter the rear cassette cogs to get a lower gear of about 36 teeth. I like high torque ability as I've found out with my on/off road ebike. That wouldn't cost much at all and you don't have to compromise the high gearing for speed.

So with the slow acceleration of the motor, how does that work when trying to get up steep technical terrain? I'm in Colorado, and I do photography as well. I want to be able to get up to some of the more remote spots to get photos. The single track trails I might take are rather technical. So, climbing up them would mean going very slow. I'm just wondering if the motor will assist properly for climbing in this terrain?
I couldn't see or hear the gears because your bag straps were that close to the wheel on one side and the tyre on the other side that I was waiting for it to be sucked into the wheel and you making friends with the road lol stay safe and hope the rest of 2020 is good to you Cheers.
ikr, I have been anticipating the radbike, however, they haven't had any in stock for over a month. I'm glad I spotted this vid as it looks as though the components of this bike are better than the radpower's.
Rad rover probably has better support though. M2S has not been great in supporting me with my purchase. EBR probably doesn’t have these problems because I’m sure EBR states who they are when they order.

@John Vargas it was hard to get them to reply to emails and phone calls.They tagged the bike I ordered incorrectly and sent the wrong bike but caught it the day I was supposed to receive it (of course my wife was mad because she waited all day for the delivery and we didn’t find out until I called the shipping company 10 minutes before 5pm to find out where the bike was). I heard nothing from M2S until I emailed Eric from M2S, he called me himself and explained it all to me. He was a nice guy and seemed to genuinely feel bad for the lack of communication and the issues I had. I had other communication problems early on and again it took several emails and one to Eric to get a response. I think it is just a small company trying to keep up with demand and the struggles of dealing with the type of business they are in. Any time they put a video out about these ‘import’ bikes they mention communication issues. It is define true. That being said the bike is great fun and was worth the wait.
I have been looking at M2S bikes and comparing them with other bikes. You stated that one can set it up as 2 class (20 miles per hour). I be leave there is a off road mode. If bike settings are set as class2 level, can one just click one button to go to off road mode for max speed and one click back to class2 ?
Considering what you get on the Rad Rover, I think it's the best bang for the buck for a 750w fat bike that allows you to disable throttle with a button. It's built with parts that you can easily find. The only downside is the range. I feel like the company lied on the range.
I was thinking of this bike, I just bought an suv and I'm having problems with it and I need to get to work. I'd honestly rather go with something like this than even deal with a car right now.
They make a step-through version. The standover height on this bike might be an issue, but the step-thru shouldn't cause problems. It's a different looking bike, but the components are the same.

I have been looking around and I am very interested in this bike but there are not a lot of good extensive reviews on it. Is M2S using quality batteries ie Samsung, Panasonic? Also how does it handle climbs when u are hauling full gear? Im a clydesdale so just curious whether it can handle my weight.

No... only bikes with a direct drive motor are going to give you that. This bike has a geared motor. The regenerative breaking creates resistance when you coast, so for lots of folks the benefits don't really outweigh the costs, but that's certainly a matter of personal preference.
Good intensity on this review..love the speed of this bike. I retro fitted a Biefang 750 watt and a stealthy battery case (a red tool box on the back rack) mid drive motor on an old cruiser called the "Watt's Up?" lol... it goes about 30mph but the rim brakes I installed are wishful at best. had to get 12gauge spokes and stronger chain because of breakage.
So you do the cheaper bikes and Court does the really expensive ones now? I would love to see more reviews of cheaper bikes. I know the problem is getting the cheaper bikes as the local bike shops don't carry them. Maybe some way of getting access to cheaper ebikes will present itself.
I love EBR, don't get me wrong, but why in all the reviews of Rad power, it is never mentioned that they are always out of stock of everything also? Not just bikes, but try and get fenders for a Rad Rover. OUT OF STOCK, with no ETA. That's the problem when all your products are coming on a slow boat from China.
I checked with their support folks. 15amps on the controller. I don't see how it can be all that fast. 48V x 15amp = 720watts, right? Really not much different than the Rad Rover.
I went with ALL TERRAIN ULTRA HT from m2s. Cost more yet 1500 watts and a 25AH batt. MID DRIVE the torque is not hub drive and for best results city ride on hub drive, mid drive any powerline hills mid drive will take it 🤣
Same as Voltbike. Both are equipped with junk parts (tires, fork, saddle,brakes, fenders, pedals). Expect to add a few hundred bucks more to upgrade along with using tubeless then you will have a better bike to ride. I own second hand Voltbike and in retrospect I would rather build a decent fat bike with mid drive kit.

I had been eyeing a demo AddMotoR Motan M560 P7 at 30% off, but someone scooped it up before me, so I looked at several different options. The Rad Rover was a close second but I felt the extra gear, extra battery capacity and hydraulic brakes made up for the difference in price. M2S wanted $187 for shipping which was almost a dealbraker, but I honestly couldn't find a better value. That said, if I could have chosen the higher capacity battery for the RadRover, I probably would have picked it over the M2S. I'm curious about that helmet in the video. Does anyone know what it is? I didn't see anything like it on Amazon.
Kickstands by the pedals are there for safety. When the kickstand is in the back, the rider can forget it’s down, then crash making a left hand turn. Seems more important than worrying about backpedaling the bike when it’s parked.
I hate how Bike company market the speed and range deceivingly. Like every bike should get atleast 25mph ahhhhDAHHHH. Top cyclist and even amateurs can hit 20 miles per hour to 25 miles per hour on a regular bike
Great bike but don't lose the washer on the rear tire that has no business coming off in the first place but will fall off.. the brakes will rub no matter WHAT you do

The 32 tooth front sprocket is geared to make uphill easier which is why you have to peddle fast on level ground to achieve top speed...

Agree. Its pretty much the same bike. But he mentioned at about 33:40 that this 48v 16mah can go up to 28mph (44.8 kph) and I think that's BS. At full charge, I can get my 2020 Yukon 750 Limited 48v 17mah to constantly hover at about 37.7 kph (topped 39.4 for a second). What can you get on yours?

Zabreal don't worry... it took a while for me to get the two bikes I ordered. They are impressive and pictures do not do them justice. You will love it, just be patient.
Zabreal yeah mine came late too. They will ship it. The wait is well worth it. I have 1,600 miles on my R750 All Terrain. I ordered mine in March of 2018, they said early April, but i got mine May 2. I get 30 miles a charge ,at 25 mph. I can get more distance by slowing my speed down. I always use pedal assist but at 25 mph I am not pedaling at all. Lol
Was shopping around and found a new M2S 750 at Piedont ebikes in Winston-Salem NC. You can find them at bike shops.
This is certainly a candidate for my next step up. Speed upgrade and not a bad price at all. Great review! If you guys think about it, it would be cool to see a quick test of the USB charging on those style batteries. I have the same Reention branded 48v battery on my X-Treme Rubicon, and I just found out yesterday that the charge port doesn't work. After a quick search, I find I'm not alone. Some have even opened the shells up, to find no wires even running to the charge port : )
"Speckly reflective bits" = "metalic" paint. :) Just started looking at this bike today, and it's quickly rising to the top of my list of candidates for my first ebike purchase. I sent a text to their support team with a question, and got a response in about three minutes. No one else has come close to that.
EBR guys --- it's all well and good to indicate where the controller is, but we can see that already. What would be more helpful would be to disclose what the amperage rating on the controller is. I think this is the first review I've ever seen where someone took the time to provide night shots so viewers can get a sense of the headlight's performance. Thanks for that.
It looks like the trip meter does NOT reset every time you turn the bike off, which is GREAT. Having access to the throttle in all PAS modes is also cool. Walk mode --- check. The headlight seems pretty sketchy, but that's not rocket science to replace with something better. The headlight on the RipCurrent S is a "yeah, baby" of 1050 lumens.
Is it possible that the fact you're outrunning the gearing is due to the unusually small 38 tooth chainring?
Beware the shipping costs - they're not included, and can run several hundred dollars. Military discount is 5%, which is about half what most companies offer. So, the net cost could be $400-500 higher than you think.
Looks like a fun bike alright. The only thing I would do is see if I could alter the rear cassette cogs to get a lower gear of about 36 teeth. I like high torque ability as I've found out with my on/off road ebike. That wouldn't cost much at all and you don't have to compromise the high gearing for speed.
is it hard to get lower gearing ro make the bike better for off road?

So with the slow acceleration of the motor, how does that work when trying to get up steep technical terrain? I'm in Colorado, and I do photography as well. I want to be able to get up to some of the more remote spots to get photos. The single track trails I might take are rather technical. So, climbing up them would mean going very slow. I'm just wondering if the motor will assist properly for climbing in this terrain?
I couldn't see or hear the gears because your bag straps were that close to the wheel on one side and the tyre on the other side that I was waiting for it to be sucked into the wheel and you making friends with the road lol stay safe and hope the rest of 2020 is good to you Cheers.

ikr, I have been anticipating the radbike, however, they haven't had any in stock for over a month. I'm glad I spotted this vid as it looks as though the components of this bike are better than the radpower's.
Rad rover probably has better support though. M2S has not been great in supporting me with my purchase. EBR probably doesn’t have these problems because I’m sure EBR states who they are when they order.

@John Vargas it was hard to get them to reply to emails and phone calls.They tagged the bike I ordered incorrectly and sent the wrong bike but caught it the day I was supposed to receive it (of course my wife was mad because she waited all day for the delivery and we didn’t find out until I called the shipping company 10 minutes before 5pm to find out where the bike was). I heard nothing from M2S until I emailed Eric from M2S, he called me himself and explained it all to me. He was a nice guy and seemed to genuinely feel bad for the lack of communication and the issues I had. I had other communication problems early on and again it took several emails and one to Eric to get a response. I think it is just a small company trying to keep up with demand and the struggles of dealing with the type of business they are in. Any time they put a video out about these ‘import’ bikes they mention communication issues. It is define true. That being said the bike is great fun and was worth the wait.
I have been looking at M2S bikes and comparing them with other bikes. You stated that one can set it up as 2 class (20 miles per hour). I be leave there is a off road mode. If bike settings are set as class2 level, can one just click one button to go to off road mode for max speed and one click back to class2 ?

Looks like one of the better values on the market. Only down side is the lack of bosses for accessories. Racks and such. Pretty nice other than that.

Considering what you get on the Rad Rover, I think it's the best bang for the buck for a 750w fat bike that allows you to disable throttle with a button. It's built with parts that you can easily find. The only downside is the range. I feel like the company lied on the range.

They make a step-through version. The standover height on this bike might be an issue, but the step-thru shouldn't cause problems. It's a different looking bike, but the components are the same.

I have been looking around and I am very interested in this bike but there are not a lot of good extensive reviews on it. Do these bikes have regenerative braking?
No.
No... only bikes with a direct drive motor are going to give you that. This bike has a geared motor. The regenerative breaking creates resistance when you coast, so for lots of folks the benefits don't really outweigh the costs, but that's certainly a matter of personal preference.
Good intensity on this review..love the speed of this bike. I retro fitted a Biefang 750 watt and a stealthy battery case (a red tool box on the back rack) mid drive motor on an old cruiser called the "Watt's Up?" lol... it goes about 30mph but the rim brakes I installed are wishful at best. had to get 12gauge spokes and stronger chain because of breakage.

So you do the cheaper bikes and Court does the really expensive ones now? I would love to see more reviews of cheaper bikes. I know the problem is getting the cheaper bikes as the local bike shops don't carry them. Maybe some way of getting access to cheaper ebikes will present itself.
I love EBR, don't get me wrong, but why in all the reviews of Rad power, it is never mentioned that they are always out of stock of everything also? Not just bikes, but try and get fenders for a Rad Rover. OUT OF STOCK, with no ETA.

What size controller?
I checked with their support folks. 15amps on the controller. I don't see how it can be all that fast. 48V x 15amp = 720watts, right? Really not much different than the Rad Rover.
I went with ALL TERRAIN ULTRA HT from m2s. Cost more yet 1500 watts and a 25AH batt. MID DRIVE the torque is not hub drive and for best results city ride on hub drive, mid drive any powerline hills mid drive will take it 🤣
Same as Voltbike. Both are equipped with junk parts (tires, fork, saddle,brakes, fenders, pedals). Expect to add a few hundred bucks more to upgrade along with using tubeless then you will have a better bike to ride. I own second hand Voltbike and in retrospect I would rather build a decent fat bike with mid drive kit.
Agreed, I have had an R750 since mid 2017, its been the most unreliable and expensive bike I have ever owned (and I have a few), but I guess you get what you pay for but maybe I have a little buyers remorse !

I'm guessing its simple. Just be sure to slip an old credit card in the caliper so the pads don't close up on you.

I had been eyeing a demo AddMotoR Motan M560 P7 at 30% off, but someone scooped it up before me, so I looked at several different options. The Rad Rover was a close second but I felt the extra gear, extra battery capacity and hydraulic brakes made up for the difference in price. M2S wanted $187 for shipping which was almost a dealbraker, but I honestly couldn't find a better value. That said, if I could have chosen the higher capacity battery for the RadRover, I probably would have picked it over the M2S.

There is no way to lock down the bike anyone can come along and turn it on. The keys only hold in the battery it doesnt keep it shut off.
Kickstands by the pedals are there for safety. When the kickstand is in the back, the rider can forget it’s down, then crash making a left hand turn. Seems more important than worrying about backpedaling the bike when it’s parked.

I don't think so. The battery, shifters, crank, controller, pedal assist, lights are all different.

I hate how Bike company market the speed and range deceivingly. Like every bike should get atleast 25mph ahhhhDAHHHH. Top cyclist and even amateurs can hit 20 miles per hour to 25 miles per hour on a regular bike
