I used to get angry at Richard Steele for stopping fights prematurely, or at least that's what I thought. Now that I'm older and wiser and revisit these fights, I would have to admit that Richard Steele did the right thing when a boxer was getting hit this hard. He may have saved a lot of lives and prevented a lot of traumatic brain injuries. God bless him for that.

You have a funny way of putting it. 👍🏼
I always hate it when a boxer is clingy with his opponent, it takes the velocity and the dynamics out of the match and I think it’s cowards behavior.
That’s why I will never consider Cassius Clay as the greatest boxer, because he ALWAYS hung on his opponent to get him out of his rhythm.
In one way he was the greatest of all times; the greatest “hugger” in the boxing ring.
Putting it in your style: Cassius Clay was the greatest in spreading love to his opponents in the ring 😂😂😂

I remember watching that first Bruno fight and just being stunned. So close to a knockout for each in the 1st round!

Exquisite touch with the call of duty sound effect every time he connects a punch. That should be standard, some people don’t understand boxing or miss a crucial blow

Tyson has been to war so many times with so many of the top contenders that I can't imagine Jake walking out of the ring without assistance.

I loved frank, wanted him.to win so much. Remember that fight. Bruno momentarily catching him but not being able to follow it up. Mind you Mike is an absolute legend of the division and there is no shame. Great memories

Tyson was a beast for sure, he had great talent and was very fortunate to work with great trainers from the beginning. Talent, coaching and training all came together for the champ.

So intense when you see Mike looking at his opponents eye to eye. God that must have been scary for the other guy lol. A tiger about to eat you kinda look. Chills* down my spine seeing those moments.
