There is a clear reach advantage being tall but its also harder for a tall boxer to land good lower head blows vs a shorter foe they have less area to defend, and since the weight is same the shorter fighter will have more power and stamina. If you look at the past boxing champs it not easy to be able to say that being very tall is clearly an advantage, there are many men over 7ft tall and non have been a boxing world champion before.

on the other hand agreed ros fight was a simple exoibition they ^rpbzbly made a deal to not hit each other in the head -like real hit one of those one punch enderes tyson still has- cause those head punches were for show, i say a couple real ones but they were pulling punches to the head its obvious. and not stupid, roy doesn't want to beko at 50+ and ion the off cchance it happened, tyson even less. and they were not in shape, prolongued the match etc.
tyson ow is a fking beast. he's lost idk how many fights and even joe rogan jokingly said "thats why my table is so wide so i had distance from tyson" and even noticed -you can't unhear that terrifying sound- thaat even tysons simple breathing though the mike scared the shit out of him jamie was like yeah me too kept looking at the exit; this man is back in a shape no 60 year old should be allowed to be in and he is still absolutely a monster

Omg there will never be boxing fights like there was in the 80s and 90s best years of boxing if you wanted raw fights where they went all the way those were the times you actually got every single of your moneys worth. Man growing up in high school in the 80’s and 90’s, having Tyson to watch on weekends and talk about at school is a cherished memory for me. That man gave me so much to get excited about and the electricity back then was palpable. My dad is a great fan of boxing who saw Ali at his best and Tyson at his. He says Ali wouldn’t survive. Tyson is GOAT. Definitely not Ali. I wish i could explain to this younger generation how Tyson mauled contenders in seconds pay per view after pay per view. You cannot stop a singular minded unstoppable force like Tyson in these years. It will go through you, and you’ll have second thoughts about being a pro boxer in the hospital.
Thanks To Mike For Being the Greatest Fighter in the World when I was a young man in my prime. I’m so lucky to have that. Nothing will come close in MMA or Boxing for decades, possibly centuries. A one in a billion warrior at his greatest? It’s a rarity that I have in my heart and some people have no idea what it is. Maybe the Roman game’s gladiators had some warriors like Tyson. But my money on Mike in his prime. Unstoppable Force.

In this brutal leathering his opponent took so many body shots to make him drop his arms from protecting his head. Those body shots must smash ribs & be painful for several months after a fight. Mike was also firing head shots from so many different angles it was a brilliant display by Mike. He used his superb defence too, keeping away grom any lucky shots from his opponent. Another

Prime Tyson would have finished him within 3rds. Lennox Lewis would be the man, I believe. Not taking anything away from Tyson - just the most intimidating boxer of all time.

Lewis or Bowe. Tyson fought neither while at his short.lived peak.
Knocked out 5 times and never avenged any defeat. That's Mike Tyson.

Tyson was not a good but a great champion, definitely one of the best. His opponents were fortunate NOT to leave the ring in a box after they angered him with their trash talk.

    Tyson was destroying careers,,,
    Tyson was a warrior!!!!
    The others were soldiers!!!!
    It’s a big difference!!!!!!
    Warriors are born!!!
    Soldiers are made….
Tyson definitely was born to be a Boxer…very rarely do we see a Boxer with this determination in the ring……
