Even when Whitney was less than half of her vocal ability, she still stood out and shone amongst other artists at their best vocals.

Whitney was like "Ok Dionne, that's what we doing".

And you would think that from 0:06 to 0:08 was from early 90s Whitney. Amazing.

This is why I disagree when people say she could've regained her my love is your love voice, she easily could've gotten back to 1995-1996 again if she took care of her voice and rehab correctly.

Natalie said in a Pirece Motgan interview that Whitney was in very good voice at that show in Russia and Germany. I was surprised to see Bobby there at the end.

That vibrato at 0:36 is pure Whitney.

Those vocals at the point she pulled on how Gladys Knight used to do her part in this songs. Go find the old that’s what friends are for with Stevie and Elton John.

Yes on “more”. She never lost her voice as they had claimed. She just smoked…. And that hindered it a bit sometimes thats all. She never lost it tho to her dying day.

I think it’s because Whitney was waiting for her turn to solo.

It’s funny on HQ she sounds different, but with a lower quality I hear Whitney 5 years earlier in tone. I suppose she had days where the voice was balanced and not hoarse

Of course she still sings the hell out of this song but she just does not look or seem present...it makes me so damn sad...she was surrounded by all the wrong people.
