its a strong adhesive. if you use heat it will continuesly stay soften and will not set. leading your backplate to fall out. let it set and apply equal pressure on all sides to have a good seal and ports.

If you're like me and had issues with the middle frame, your model might be the one with one screw still on the phone. It's covered by the mi logo.

How the hell do you people take off the middle frame so easily?! I was trying to do it for like 30mins the other day, ended up cracking it in several places, lol. Went to the repair shop and they changed the battery in like 5 mins, I was like wtffffff

skills i guess. these frames are basically fragile in some areas and some clips will unclip automatically with little force and if too much you're risking cracking it. you pay these people because they knew how to do it efficiently

Took me about 45 seconds, used a guitar pick tool. Start from the sim tray which is the easiest spot in a phone with a mid frame to separate it easily
