Does opening the phone with heating damages internal hardware? I know that's the only way to open it but wanted to know if it does because my new mobile battery has less output.
I have had a Redmi Note 10 Pro for 2 months now and I noticed when I wipe the back of the phone that the lower right edge crackles slightly. But only when I press hard on the edge, do I have reason to worry or is it the same with all models?
@@phuketexplorer Thanks to the clip creator. Just replaced the battery. It was actually BN53 for Redmi Note 10 Pro. BN59 is for other models. The battery connector is located in the different position.
@@dallasboy1 LOL. Should be BN59, but any battery with a prefix 'BN' is a copy anyway. Original Xiaomi batteries have no BN number. BN59 has a slightly higher capacity.
@@DIYGeardo Hi! Thanks for the response. I got it checked at the Service centre, they replaced the charging slot and a thin plate-like part(wires I believe) connecting it to the battery. My problem seems to be resolved now. It's charging properly now🤞 One question though - Is this not covered under warranty?

No it will not, just make sure not to heat the device too much. 1-2 minute will be enough. Unless you get a heating pad and let it run automatically

The battery starts to balloon and eventually pushes the glass back off. Easier to change then ! 😄

The battery should be BN59
