I'm older & i always enjoyed pastor Jimmy's participation in the group on Wednesday's (or any other time!) simply because his emphasis was not on how "quickly" he could get thru the teaching but instead, he would stop & illustrate a point. For some of us, learning is a slow, methodical process.
I have always learnt a lot from these teachings, and indeed we pray wrongly deceiving ourselves that it is humility, thanks Donnie for telling us those things which pop into your mind, they are so amazing.
Thank you for your great insights. We mustn't forget to seek the Holy Spirit's revelation as we study the Scriptures. Ephesians 1:17 ". . .may give you the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation that you may know Him better." Also in Isaiah 11:2,3 "the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and Power, The Spirit of Knowledge and the fear of the Lord, and He will delight in the Fear of the Lord." Yes, seeking the Holy Spirit, Who lives in us, by the way, we are His temple--don't forget Him!!

I like to hear them preach and teach but always talking about other churches just frustrates me. Here is the reason. 1) you don’t have to put someone else down to strengthen the truth your speaking. 2) the more you speak negative about someone else, it gives you less time to speak the truth. 3) I was around when Jimmy did it all the time and then got exposed for his own indiscretions. 4) you should lead by example and walk in the truth of Jesus and what He did on the cross. I don’t think there is anyone that I know of changed there doctrine by what the swaggers ever exposed. I have met Donnie and He was a wonderful Man of God. I’m not against them but I pray they do better.
