Great video Ben. Just a quick one. I pulled the valve at top to release the pressure after 12 months and sometimes it drips specifically when using the hot water. My system is a Vulcan 170 and is only 12 months old do you think I have a problem?

Hi , my geyser valve leaks very little a day from the hot valve , I'm not too knowledgeable about geyser so I did call a plumber but he said if I leave it , it will start dripping constantly and that he will replace it , is he telling the truth? The water that comes out is very less and on the internet it says its normal for it to leak a bit to release pressure, please advise me 🙏

a) I rent and my hot water heater doesn't have a cold water pressure release valve. Is that a problem? b) I changed the tank yesterday. I have a Nefa PTR1000 'knob' type hot water valve and this morning it was just barely dripping (one drop about every 15 seconds or so) so my wife decided to 'burp' it and now it's running like an open tap. Looking for advice as calling a plumber right now financially is not an option. :(

I have a strange issue, when you turn any of the cold tap in the house there is a groaning noise and the cold water pressure relief valve spits out water (solar)
Hi there, we would recommend to check your water pressure as that could be the cause, like in this video th-cam.com/video/imbNl2DQGCc/w-d-xo.html. Hope that helps! Do subscribe to our channel (if you haven't already) so that you get notified of our new videos :) tiny.cc/beautifulsubscribe
@@BeautifulPlumbing thanks mate I have replaced the cold expansion valve and it still spits out water mins you the groan is a short groan before spitting out...would it pay the replace the hot valve on the roof?
One of the water tank(5000ltr) water is leaking continuously from the pressure relief valve,we replaced with a same new one. But its continuously leaking from new pressure relief valve. Can u suggest me how to rectify the problem
How much to replace the ECV on a Rheem 80L HWS electric, in the Bassendean area?? Or can it be done DIY??? I don’t want to deprive u of business, but don’t want to pay for something my own body can do!!!! Is it a flat charge or is it hourly and call out???
Hi Timothy, we charge $55 call out fee to come out and assess the situation and give the best advice along with the quote, and if you go on with the job, we will waive the call out fee. We charge per job (flat charge) instead of hourly, and we believe you would need a plumber to do it to ensure everything is up to standard :)
Nicely explained all test cases... Thank you for a quick and detailed video

Was just wondering mine was leaking all the time but they just capped it off is that still ok ???
Hi Ben, is it normal for the hot temp side to just drip water when you turn it on? Compared to the cold side where it sprays water?
Can you use 1 pressure valve to control 2 400kpa geysers
Can I do it with cold water

Dose any one knows why it leaks new P&T valve and it is new boiler
Great video but a tip for next time, kill the background music it makes hard to hear your voice and its just completely unnecessary
