@@RAMUNI-Viking Same with me. We don't get a lot of snow where I live (northwest Germany) but whenever we do I'm totally happy and enjoy playing in the snow with my dogs etc. It's kind of ironic, though, that I watched this video on one of the hottest days of the year... :-D
Hello Ramuni , Wonderfull to see you out enjoying the Winter Forest , Its been several years since I was out at that time of year ,,and I miss it so much , my Health stops me from Going these days . Be Well , Strength , Honour and Respect .👍
As I only found your channel a few days ago of you making the traditional shoes, I had ten minutes spare so I thought I'd watch another one, this hike is fantastic the look on your face is amazing, the scenery is beautiful what more could you want, I think I enjoyed that just as much as you. All the best.
You have beautiful trees there. Great looking boots and furs and woolens and packs . I enjoyed seeing it all. Great fun and thank you for the great close ups and sharing it all.
Ramuni. New to the channel. Loving the videos. as a Blacksmith and bladesmith. I really loved the ice crampons. May have to make me up a set. as we have alot of Ice here in North Dakota in the winter:)
Hello Tom:) the warmest of Welcome to my channel. Im happy to hear you like the videos. As a blacksmith and bladesmith im sure you would make a great job of the ice crampons. Sadly we have so few days with proper snow and ice here in Denmark these recent years but the ice crampons do work really well:) All the best
What books would you reccomend for learning about the traditional, every day life of the ancient germanic people's? I've looked everywhere and cannot find a single author. Thank you for the content brother 🌹
The only Thing that tells about everyday life is the archaological finds and their interpretations as far as I think. For example the large ammount of comb, ear scoops, pincets or tweezers, razor knifes etc seems to tell that the Vikings were very aware of their personal hygene. I would strongly recommend the book Unearthing Haithabu (Spurensuche) by Kurt schietzel. A few english editions exists. It cover All the findings from Haithabu with great drawings, explanations about everyday life through the finding of objects like butter churns, boats, tools, food remains and so on. Good but nerdy
💪🏼 Здравствуй 👍🏼
