Good stuff brother. Recently found your channel. Love the motto! My dad taught me, and I use it to this day, "You want it, you work for it, you get it."
thinking about putting on board air on my ram, and remembered a video you did years ago about your on board air system, so i decided to look it up and wowowow how much the videos have changed, love the new way you run your content and not gonna lie i appreciate you not saying its a pain in the dick in the first 5 minutes haha love u vids ryno keep on keepin on!
Because you dont have a filter/dryer or a wet tank to condense the air produced by the compressors, you should really bleed your tank after every use because the moisture built up on the inside will rust it inside out. Semi trucks have a wet tank and a filter/dryer and it's regulations that they have to drain their air tanks every day.
DMAXRYNO I wasn't watching until I was reading the comments but yes make sure you dump the water and air, water in the tank can cause you tank to rust in the inside and one day you let air build up and a week tank, let's just say it won't be fun
Yea I got sick of carrying a hose around so I've got a 15m retractable air hose on the left side because being a tray back I put two toolboxes on so one houses that. I ran a twin cylinder to reduce the power being drawn but now I've got a new oil filled pump on its way that's got a 100% duty cycle with a tank attached to it so twin tank set up lol
Most 10ply or E load tires come on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.....for heavy towing setups and to attain full function, they need to be at 80 psi.....i keep my tires inflated at 60psi front and 70 rear...
I can think of countless applications for compressed air which are more entertaining than this but I get the feeling I just don't get it - think I'm more of an amg man myself. Could something like this serve any other functions in a campervan (currently building one, just curious). Cheers!
I just built a kit that is very compact and can still run an impact to remove a tire etc. Also very economical. Theres 4 new vids on my channel about it and how to wire things to your car/truck.
I have dual 480s on my VW Jetta. Also run it with engine off from time to time and no issues. However, i did need to upgrade my alternator from 90 to 120 amp. And optima yellow top. I recommend moving the air filter to the inside of the cab, or the AirZenith compressor which is all weather and is a beast. Great setup however.
for tire inflation only do you think one pump and a 5 gallon tank would be fine. will only be needed for oem size truck tires and trailer ties up to 110psi
❤❤❤. You would love to see my system. I have 4 compressors. And a 2 1/2 gallon tank pumped it up to 250 psi I use the same compressors that you’ve used mine are newer style than yours and I have an air pressure gauge in the cab of my truck so I can monitor the air pressure. I can also monitor the amperage draw on the battery when I turn on all 4. compressors. I have a switch in the cab for each set of air compressors. 1 switch activates. 2 air compressors, and the second switch activate an additional. 2 Moore air compressors. ❤❤
There's much better compressors than what he's using. I just built a kit that is very compact and can still run an impact to remove a tire etc. Also very economical. Theres 4 new vids on my channel about it and how to wire things to your car/truck.
An impact has a pretty high air demand, these compressor will probably struggle to keep up. That being said, check out milwaukee's cordless impact. It's a beast!
I had that same setup minus train horns which I have on my freightliner classic and fun to scare 4 wheelers with lol but I had same setup in my 86 Chevy powered cj7 loved viair
No wear issues at all, I've found with toys and big lift kits, you need to rotate them often. Id have the alignment and suspension checked if you're having cupping issues. These tires aren't cheap to have to replace
Yes larger tanks are available, can also connect tanks together, obviously want a 1/2" line running between them for fast flow/fill etc. Quieter compressors...nope not that kind. One can use a modified A/C compressor if you can custom mount it on your truck. They can be much quieter and output much more air.
Hi! Great Video! As a Sign Painter, this Onboard Air Compressor Set-up could run my Air Guns "on the job-site"! Who installed the whole air assembly on your truck? Yourself? Pep Boys?
Hi! Cool! Thanks 4 the tips! Bout to pick up a still running 2004 Dodge Dakota Truck from my Bro n Law. Will sure feel good to quit lugging my portable sign painting stuff on the bus & subways! Saving up for that very same "Swing Case" Storage Bin U have! Thanks 4 showing us "what to expect" from it after a period of time and use!
No problem. I can't imagine carrying tools with you while using public transportation! You'll love having a truck to be able to personalize and set up to make your work easier. The swing case is great as long as you don't overload it with big tow chains like I did!
Gotcha, the truck would have to be on a slope the would pretty much flip it over backwards for the ground to come into contact with it. But it it were on a lower truck, it may be an issue.
With my luck, it wouldn't go a week before an accurate rock or something smacked right into it; cool shit bro, back to watching the rest of the videos, don't get limp ;)
aceboogie no idea what he's talking about you can buy this full set up with the air hose and horns from hornblasters who are the best in train horns for 600-700 easily
The level of how badass you are is proportional to the amount of haters you have in the comments. You have an obscene amount of haters in the comments... lol
Very nice setup! One thing, when inflating tires you're not supposed to go off what the tire says... each vehicle has it's own pressure rating for the tires. Check by the drivers side door latch
That sticker only applies to the tires the truck originally came with. You can fill your tires to the 'max pressure' rating on the tire (for trucks, usually 80psi) if you want to maximize your fuel mileage or haul heavy weight. But you will feel every little bump in the road when you're not hauling. I like to keep mine around 65 or 70psi for a smoother ride.
I only use winter air, better for tires.
Good stuff brother. Recently found your channel. Love the motto! My dad taught me, and I use it to this day, "You want it, you work for it, you get it."
That's so cool having the hose for the compressor I've never seen that in a truck before !
Can we just take a moment to talk about how much his videos have improved
thinking about putting on board air on my ram, and remembered a video you did years ago about your on board air system, so i decided to look it up and wowowow how much the videos have changed, love the new way you run your content and not gonna lie i appreciate you not saying its a pain in the dick in the first 5 minutes haha love u vids ryno keep on keepin on!
bro dump your tank once every two weeks or month because jeez the water that came out when you plugged in the house was astonishing
Thats a good call. I haven't dumped it in a long time.
Ashton Adams this guy.....this guy knows exactly what is up
Otherwise kaboom and it happens.
DMAXRYNO I wasn't watching until I was reading the comments but yes make sure you dump the water and air, water in the tank can cause you tank to rust in the inside and one day you let air build up and a week tank, let's just say it won't be fun
Quite the cross-functional setup!
Yep.
Durtymax Jack I have to give it to the dude, he looks like a douchebag but nice fuckin Truck better than Dirty Max.
Durtymax Jack i
Genius idea on that air compressor 👏👏👏 but you should always bleed the tanks when done.
I run the VIAR 200PSI on board system with 2 gallon tank. Only thing I would change is bigger tank size but can only fit so much on a half ton.
Id definitely get some kind of cover to cover the air fitting, to keep the elements from damaging it.
I wanna build my chevy just like his but instead of a 12 inch life I'll probably do a 5inch
Man your truck is so bad ass. Now that's a work horse...
A retractable 50ft air hose hidden under the truck bed would be awesome.
Wow you’ve gotten so much more relaxed and less scripted these days at the end of 2019
Yea I got sick of carrying a hose around so I've got a 15m retractable air hose on the left side because being a tray back I put two toolboxes on so one houses that. I ran a twin cylinder to reduce the power being drawn but now I've got a new oil filled pump on its way that's got a 100% duty cycle with a tank attached to it so twin tank set up lol
So in the event of a rear end collision, there's basically a bomb mounted in the back?
1shot1soul no, there's about 120-150psi of air in the back that will bleed out if punctured. The same as a Semi tire
1shot1soul not with that huge hook in the back
I just laughed out loud, that was the 1st thing I thought of safety
Matt s wtf is that even supposed to mean lol
80 psi for a stock tire? That seems double the limit to me?
Most 10ply or E load tires come on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.....for heavy towing setups and to attain full function, they need to be at 80 psi.....i keep my tires inflated at 60psi front and 70 rear...
thx for the clarification
I don't haul much (dirtbike/s) so I keep mine at 45psi, sofer ride.
80 psi Jesus it would be like riding on bricks. Hard ride.
apparently you don't own a truck with e-rated tires...
Nice set up
It's impossible not to be Subscribed and I can't wait till my WorkForIt shirt and hat show up
Appreciate the support! And for providing me years of entertainment as my favorite show!
I can think of countless applications for compressed air which are more entertaining than this but I get the feeling I just don't get it - think I'm more of an amg man myself. Could something like this serve any other functions in a campervan (currently building one, just curious). Cheers!
Thanks installing dual 440 c’s this weekend with 5 gal, my truck is not lifted I tow a 40 ft fiver 2013 3500 duramax
I just built a kit that is very compact and can still run an impact to

U should get a new female hook up thingy along with the gauge you were talkin about cuz it took u a sec to connect that hose Mabey cuz of rust ?
Yeah, all the dirt and road grim gets thrown from the tires at it. I'll need to come up with a new location for it
What brand of air compressor did you use man? I would like to do this on my truck also.
There's much better compressors than what he's using. I just built a kit that is very compact and can still run an impact to remove a tire etc. Also very economical. Theres 4 new vids on my channel about it and how to wire things to your car/truck.
Wats the cost of that setup? FYI put some oil on the latch and rod of the swingcase, might help get her to unlatch
What system is that. I have a 14 f150 and would love to install this system
the compressors are a great idea
How much are you making it with apparel? Seems awesome
had a shop truck once that had air ran right off the belt
Is that compressor powerful enough to use air tools. Like if needed to change a tire and back out and make up lug nuts??
New favorite channel
Does your truck ever see dirt? Is it 4x4?
Your truck screams compensating bro... what a pavement princess
If you dont mind me asking, how much did the air compressor setup cost roughly. Would love to put this on my f350 dually dump truck
Awesome set up!
What's your company name?
And where did you get the delete done at?
Damn that camera is on point ,what phone is this 4k
That's a sick set up u have there man 🖒🏽 how much does it cost ?
hi do you have more than one compressor? Why? wouldn't one be enough for that small tank
By any chance is that silverado in san diego. ive seen it before
Will this run my impact gun... would be pretty awesome on the farm
An impact has a pretty high air demand, these compressor will probably struggle to keep up. That being said, check out milwaukee's cordless impact. It's a beast!
When are you going to mod the ford?
Pretty slick.
is that tacoma in the driveway his too?
Mine will take 80 on my obs 350 but I run 60 for less stiffness
what's the story behind the new tailgate?
What kind of set up? Tank, compressors...
Where did you get the 8 gallon tank from. Nice setup.
Realtrainhorns.net
DMAXRYNO thanks bro. Like the set up. Anything I need for the same set up. Or advices
DMAXRYNO thank you
What's the point of the huge hook on the back?
Chase ...to pull fords
tacos 4 lifetime i think you meant dodge correct?
agnt 47
Both, hahahaha
Joseph Ryan, yah both Dodge and chevy
agnt 47
No no no Dodge and Ford, sorry
Where did you get your hitch?
I had that same setup minus train horns which I have on my freightliner classic and fun to scare 4 wheelers with lol but I had same setup in my 86 Chevy powered cj7 loved viair
what kind of sunglasses are those?
Electrics
I guess there was no where else to put the compressors as all the rocks and crap(literally) flies up behind the tires when goin down the road.
Put your products in the description please!
do you have any wear issues with your Toyo's, I have 38 x 15.50 r20 and mine are cuping I think that's the term.
No wear issues at all, I've found with toys and big lift kits, you need to rotate them often. Id have the alignment and suspension checked if you're having cupping issues. These tires aren't cheap to have to replace
What is the full system your running and is there away to get both a bigger tank and quiet the compressors?
Yes larger tanks are available, can also connect tanks together, obviously want a 1/2" line running between them for fast flow/fill etc. Quieter compressors...nope not that kind. One can use a modified A/C compressor if you can custom mount it on your truck. They can be much quieter and output much more air.
what is the cost for a setup like that?
Will it run an air impact gun?
Hi! Great Video! As a Sign Painter, this Onboard Air Compressor Set-up could run my Air Guns "on the job-site"! Who installed the whole air assembly on your truck? Yourself? Pep Boys?
My local shop that did all the work on the truck installed the setup for me. Any autoshop should be able to do it for you
Hi! Cool! Thanks 4 the tips! Bout to pick up a still running 2004 Dodge Dakota Truck from my Bro n Law. Will sure feel good to quit lugging my portable sign painting stuff on the bus & subways! Which model Viair compressors are you running?
Also leaving air copmressed creates a lot of mosture you need to dump the tank
Hey, do you mean he should drain the air? Like never have it filled max all the time?
Hey man was wondering where i could get a compressor like this also where can i get a trailer hitch pin lock like yours?
I got the compressor setup from realtrainhorns.net The hitch lock can be found on amazon.
DMAXRYNO i Appreciate the reply man love the vids keep em up
So this is what you when you’re singing for the Foo Fighters
Nice obs Fseries. I own a 97 f250 4+4 ext cab 8ft bed. Will never sell it.
Wess Reiley dang that's a big truck. one of my dream trucks tbh
I feel you need mud shields for the air compressor
What brand Is your air horn ?
Hi Ryan what type of tow hook is that? Do you have a link or brand
Boosted C7 Z06 its called a hobo hook
I think the Compressor would be better in the bed of the truck... If you go mudding and what not something might hit it..
"Bro Dozer" trucks aren't supposed to be used off pavement!
Matthew Schiebout he needs a light bar that spans across the top of the windshield to achieve the true bro dozer status haha
Ive seen where people will use their huge brush guards as the air tank. Dual function
That truck isn’t meant for off road which is a shame
Not sure if I'll get a response or if its been asked but, what are the chances of crushing the air tank drain valve on something?
What do you mean crushing it?
breaking it off on something; I noticed the drain valve on the tank was a bit lower than the hitch receiver
Hey man what size is your big flag?
Could this power an air impact in a pinch if I needed to take a wheel off?
I wouldn't count on it. Better to carry a battery impact
We literally have the same shoulder length brown hair lol nice
Where do you put the spare tire?
there is not a spare because you cant fit a full size spare
I see you have money. I would recommend doing a retrofit on your headlights.
I think you need a bigger hook
The og ryan
So you removed your spare for this setup?
Yup, The spare tire was to small for me anyways.
Why haven't I already done this..... the actual fuck have I been doing with my life
What's with the Waylon flying w
Big Waylon Jennings fan
DMAXRYNO that's awesome man 🤙🏻
how much your compressors cost u
Yo my dude how much was the air set up on the truck
About $2200 including the horn. About half that if you don't want the horn
DMAXRYNO not bad at all
aceboogie no idea what he's talking about you can buy this full set up with the air hose and horns from hornblasters who are the best in train horns for 600-700 easily
you can find the stuff on eBay or Amazon for a few hundred dollars. the compressors and tank are for Air Ride "bags"
You should fix up the work truck and make vids on it.
this would be useful if you were a mobile mechanic or went rock crawling. Either way cool set up.
how's the mount for the horns/tank setup
I didn't use an off the shelf mount. My buddy's shop took the time to mount each component tucked up in the spare tire area.
DMAXRYNO I figured that. I am trying to make one for my Ram
Check out wickedcustoms.com/horn-kits/ they make bolt in mounts for certain kits. Could use them to get ideas for yours.
DMAXRYNO Is It really a wicked customs? I live like 5 min from them.
The level of how badass you are is proportional to the amount of haters you have in the comments. You have an obscene amount of haters in the comments... lol
Clyde Connors FUCK THEM WITH A RUST RIM UP THEIR ASS WITH NO LUBE.
Them houses though 😱😱😱
Putting it at 65psi will make your ride better
Where did you get the tow hook from?

NME1994 yes it will run an impact gun.
Badass!
What type of work do you do ?
Commercial and residential construction.
DMAXRYNO I have to give it the dude, he looks like a douchebag but nice fuckin Truck, better than the Dirty Max from Street Speed 717!
This video made in the BM era. Before mustache.
where did you buy the train horn with the compressor
Whats Poppin realtrainhorns.net
Is that ford gasser or diesel?
qcn_ cummins she's got the 7.3 power stroke. Main reason I bought it.
DMAXRYNO that's the best Ford engine. Is it 4x4?
its a 2wd, you can tell by the front hubs
How’d get here
I can't tel if that southern accent is real or not lol
GW no he's just a douchbag Californian
if thats what you think is a southern "accent" then the most country you've seen is on the news clip
what train horn do u have ??
