Massive congrats on completing the Bob Jeff! Interesting bit of trivia for you, all Park Runs in the UK are 5k, and I think there are almost 800 park runs across the country. It's a great fun community for those of us who take running a bit less serious! Happy to see you're enjoying Europe so much, enjoy the rest of your adventures this year.
Congratulations on completing the Bob - really enjoyed the footage especially as it showed how you went up Scafell via Lords Rake and West Wall traverse by the looks of it. Typical Cumbrian weather 😉 Look forward to the longer film.
Love you got a parkrun in Jeff! Parkrun is what got me into running - went once and just couldn't stop going back it's such a friendly environment where nobody cares how fast or slow you're going!
Wonderful recap of the Bob. Huge congrats Jeff. Glad you enjoyed the UK and I'm gutted that I didn't get to see you Guys at Hamstead. Next time. You will have to come back! 😊
Just hiked Scafell today while here on holiday. While I am road runner I can not imagine doing 23 hours of these hikes. Congratulations on an amazing accomplishment.
Took me a while to get back to watch this one, congrats on the round, Park runs are great. If a 5k doesn’t fit your schedule, run there and back, make it any distance you need.
Congrats Jeff! Such a great race! Good luck to Audree. I have my first trail half marathon next weekend after a long period of injury. Excited to get back out there and watching your videos gets me even more excited! Also, Happy Birthday!
Congrats Jeff, that’s some achievement! It’s been great watching you over this side of the world after watching all your other adventures, and it seems so strange seeing you do a Parkrun! Enjoy your continued travels and best of luck to Audree in her race.
Well done Jeff awesome achievement. Been a dream of mine ever since i learnt about Billy Bland breaking the record back in the day and all the great fell races. You are part of a great club. If you haven't already read it I recommend a feet in the clouds. Great read concerning the history of fell running and the Bob Graham.
Congratulations Jeff! I really hope to run into you and Audrée in Grindelwald. It would be nice to meet you in person after watching countless hours of your adventures online. I‘ll keep an eye out for Audrée on the E101 trails! It looks like we are in for a great (hot) race!
Huge congrats Jeff! What an amazing achievement. You must be over the moon. I lived in the Lake District for a couple of years in my 20’s. Such a beautiful part of the world. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Thank you for making me aware of Naak🎉I’m usually usi g GU stroopwaffle, and they Seem to have stopped producent them-and I’m doing an ultra in 14 days, so I have searched the internet with no luck… Just ordered from Naak😌🙏🏼 Looking forward for the Eiger story😮😅
Well done Jeff. Adventure races and routes come and go but the BGR has been there for 90 years and will be there for many more than 90 to come. It's like a badge of achievement for the ages which makes it special. By the way Parkruns are always 5k.
Congrats, Jeff and a delayed happy birthday! 🥳 The fact that you continue to push yourself and attempt these amazing feats of physical endurance while being in your early 40s is truly inspiring. Maybe that's not a big deal in more progressive countries like Canada, US or the UK, but for us living in other parts of the world where the general mentality is more on the gloomy side and where the consensus is that after you get in your 30s you're pretty much toast this is a good reminder that progress stops happening when you stop trying. Also, you don't look a day over 32 so do share with the rest of your skin-care routine 😂
Great video & well done on the BGR in very challenging conditions. You mention that parkruns vary in distance - nope, all 5km (other than the version for children) + they are always free regardless of where you are in the world.
Again congratulations Jeff on a dream realized! From an outsiders perspective you looked to be just clicking along the entire round like clockwork. Just a wonderful demo of how well your training and fitness has shaped up to be! You both still have so many adventures still to go this season! It is such a privilege and a wonderful experience to be able to travel and participate away from home for such a duration. There's something cozy about being able to watch these vlog type videos and have a cup of coffee to enjoy them with :) Can't wait for the next one and thank you for keeping us all dreaming and engaged with our own goals as well, these certainly are a great motivation and inspiration for myself.
Congrats, Jeff! 👏👏 You make it look easy but I know it’s not. I always look forward to seeing your adventures. Great work! 😊❤ Good luck to Audree with her Swiss race!
Congratulations on your BGR, Jeff. I completed mine two weeks earlier, 16-17 June (in much better conditions!) and enjoyed reliving the experience through your video.
Great stuff, Jeff, congratulations on making it round in a pretty decent time even if conditions weren't the best! I've got the BGR on my plan for next year, having recced a few of the sections over the past few years.
haha that was funny about the "pants", don't worry they are tough cookies, they run in shorts even in the snow Massive congratulations Jeff! (Ohh our Bowland Chris is in the video too!)
Absolute respect Jeff🤙🏽 Just saying i'm not from running community yet))) but i love sports + nature = 🫶 Wanna tell something. As for me it's not just about running for exercise to burn some calories wich is also great. That's contains a lot more and the main thing is to growing up as a human being. Through running on different levels there are such lessons like: consistency, discipline, mental & physical hard work, the friendship as it is and difference between to be in "your community" - (same goals same passion same views ...) and your life out of that, how traveling is important they give you more than you could expected in various ways, supporting is a real thing you can't be alone to break your own walls on the way to the top, the power of nature her beauty and the dark side too her lessons are deep as well. Filming such experience full of all spectrum of emotions, '' life lessons '' and so much more that people can learn from them and get motivated and watch how things can be done with right people around you. Your way to share the story through videos with your own unique edits: picking the frames, music, voiceovers and so. It's damn haaard but this so much worth it in the end. Keep doing. Keep pushing.
