My sister who lives in Winnipeg was recently diagnosed with cancer and has to be bedridden going through several cycles of chemotherapy. I introduced her to Slim Potatohead channel and now she watches EVERY SINGLE EPISODE many times over each day coz it brings her out of the hospital and out into serene nature, realizing what a wonderful world we have outside our frail bodies. She says thanks a million, and so do I.

I think a lot of people dread the west-east freeway ride across the Plains and don't take time to really see and appreciate the eastern border area of Nebraska along the Missouri, especially. I have never lived there, but the mix of farms and forested hills with the Mighty Mo snaking its way through the bottomlands has to be one of the richest swaths of America's heartland (as long as it isn't flooded out, but then that's part of what has created it). From around the Iowa / Missouri line north into South Dakota, I have also never seen a more diverse and extensive population of birds, especially in the migratory seasons, from the songbirds of the Southern and Eastern states to huge groups of different waterfowl. Love that area.
Slim, this is extraordinary. The astutely curated and flawlessly edited music that went along with the visuals in some segments really took this video into the stratosphere- and the brief but illuminating video inserts around the Dignity monument subtly enhanced and amplified the beauty and message of that landmark. I must say I would be astonished to learn that multiple chambers of commerce had not yet approached you, seeking licenses to use your videos to lure, inform, and delight visitors in their areas- each of your videos is a gem for tourism! Thank you, again, for the warmth, artistry, humor and intelligence you so painstakingly invest in sharing your travels with us!!! 💐💐💐

Your video shows why we like living in this southeast corner of South Dakota and the area around. You were lucky and got to see the Music Museum. It is now closed for a major expansion and will reopen in a couple of years.
We broke down 5 miles from Silver City Idaho(pop:20), but super nice people from Jordan Valley OR(pop170) helped us get off the mountain! And we had a total history buff tell us all about the area and it was part of the Lewis/Clarke journey!!😍
Outstanding video Slim. The Missouri River is a treasure. It was an angry river this year. In fact, I just came south on I 29 -- there are still closed spots in the Omaha area as of June 13th. I can't imagine why there would be any thumbs down... Keep up the great work.
