Monster Hunter Wilds will probably also look significantly better on the pro (compared to the base system).

Yeah but in this case doesn't matter anyway even if it was 16k, I don't understand what the point of Direct Comparison videos is when there is literally NO difference. He could make Comparison videos about so many different games & ports that would be actually meaningful and infinitely more interesting but Nick is obsessed over the fact that it has to be something that JUST released even if there is no point to it.
For those who haven't played Rebirth on PC, the resolution is stuck at 1920x1080 because it's in windowed fullscreen mode. In my case it said 1080p but I could tell the game was running at a higher resolution.
If you want the game to show the true resolution you have to switch it to windowed mode and then back to windowed fullscreen mode.
Looking at this video in 4k on my tv, I really see no tangible differences outside 120fps. Happy with my ps5pro performance on this one for sure.
That's only because you own a PS5, get a high end PC and then tell me you feel this way. I used to think the same thing before I got a PC. It's without a doubt far more expensive, but PC is a different experience, those extra frames make a massive difference even if just that. The smoothness is night and day. I accidentally had the game capped at 60 fps, once I uncapped it, it was like a different game. PC also allows you to adjust brightness sharpness and colors through your graphics card making colors and graphics stand out more. You're absolutely getting more value for your money with the ps5 version tho.
@@jasonbrice Plus DLSS 4 is going to be noticeably better for image quality on top of getting 120fps and adding mods to already enhance shadows, hd textures, further remove lod pop in and more.

Ngl the pc port kinda disappoints, no fsr, no xess, no frame generation, no real lighting upgrades during gameplay, no real texture upgrades, still poping (without engine.ini tweaks) no ultrawide, no uncapped framerate without mods, stutters here and there.

Shadows are broken you just can fixed with the engine.ini tweaks, and foliage only moving when the camera is very close, we can play at 120 fps, but having very bad shadow quality and low res textures, usually this is because they have very low resolution textures, maybe is because they didn't want it to be a 200 gb download

seems it's often to see 360p as highest quality option in early video lately
TH-cam incorrectly said video had finished processing 4k. Might be a bug on their backend recently. Very annoying.

The mobile app reset the status and shows timing, 1080p should be coming in soon. 4k in about 30min. Very annoying, but oh well - too many games to cover atm @NicheNick2003

Meanwhile PC user keep laughing about huge differences in details, FPS and more updates for QoL.
We all born from our mother but we have different eyes and taste.
Proof is in the pudding. Comparison in this video would not upset a PlayStation 5 Pro owner.
@@GlowingF0ssilPC gaming is bad. Always issues with bad ports, windows, drivers etc. Never had a single issue with my ps5. It's a stable system. I regret buying a PC. I hate PC gaming now. Consoles are made for gaming. Games are way better optimized as well.
I just sold my PC and bought a PS5 pro. The graphics difference is minimal and you don't have to deal with all the problems that comes with PC gaming. 👍@@MrRedskin0007

PC is better, sure. Everything else would be tragic for $3.000 or so.
But the Pro is really amazing. This Console has still so much Power left.
4k textures are out for nearly all characters including update to most environmental textures. The modwork in 2weeks has been astounding. Looks infintely better than PS5/pro.

I was so excited for the PC port as I played 7r on PC upscaled to 4k, consistent 60fps, looked and ran beautifully. Rebirth has stutters, the character models look like garbage, any time something happens there are frame drops. I know the system requirements were upped a bit from 7r but it feels like it just runs.. badly.

Even though there was pre compilation of shaders, it still had shader compilation stutters during gameplay. I wish there was an option to force every single shader in the game to be precompiled. These stutters happen all the time during cutscenes especially where they are most distracting.
Using a 4080. Capped my frame rate to 90 for this game only in nvcp. No longer have stutters in cutscenes. I notice cutscene stutters occur when it gets close to or above 120 fps (if you have a ini file that uncaps frame rate)
@@Truth.Alphaz What is your CPU, shaders are compiled by the CPU and have nothing to do with the GPU. So upgrading my GPU will not resolve this.
@ 12900k. Turning off hyper threading in bios and threaded optimization in nvcp helped eliminate stutters. Idk if you have amd or intel though
@@Truth.Alphaz Yeah your CPU is hugely faster. I'm think maybe refunding for now, sticking with the PS5 version and buying when I upgrade my PC.

The only difference in fidelity I can tell when they aren't compared side by side are the bolder shadows on PS5.

sometimes indoor lights cast shadows, sometimes they don't
sometimes open world shadows are there, other times they're not
if the game feels like it the objects load in properly if it don't, well then they wont
i hope modders will come up with a fix for these problems, it's a shame that such a game is released in this state
Agreed. I played ff7 remake and loved it. I was so impressed I went out the next day and bought ff7 rebirth premium edition for about a hundred quid assuming it would look as good. I've barely played it. It's a major graphical step down. Major
"they clearly went the cost cutting way with rebirth". No lol. Remake was mostly in the dark which made interesting lighting, in the day time gameplay Rebirth looks much better in comparison. And it is a way bigger job to have an open world game, which Remake didn't have.

In graphics maybe, but they went all out in all the rest (gameplay improvements, audio design, voice record, music). It’s a perfectly reasonable trade off
@Norightnowrong1 it's not. It's unplayable and I'm not even one of those graphics guys. You can't even make out your characters face it's like there is vaseline on the screen
I think the pro is better than people give it credit for. Sony didn’t help of course, with that horrendous pricing and the joke that was the lack of the disc drive. But it really is an excellent console, and it has been delivering on the promises made. I hope the new direction at Sony makes some changes on the consumer approach though, cause they’re NOT good at it right now

Big question: I know nothing about pcs and I can’t afford either that or a ps5 pro right now. But if I had to choose one which would be the best option to play part 3 when it comes out in 2-3 years?
PC most likely. Ps5 base struggled with rebirth. Ps5pro made it a far better experience. Part 3 likely will reuse most of the environmental assets and effects, so it likely will suffer the same issues. Ps5pro would be the best solution if you can nab one, as its cheaper than a high end PC
@ I appreciate it, thank you! Tbh I’m planning to hang up my controller for good with part 3. There’s a lot of reasons, but I feel like that would be the best game to go out on so I want to experience it in the best way possible :)
@@nhlcbj I use controller almost exclusively on PC. I leave Steam Big Picture mode on all the time.
PS5 PRO has much cheaper price for the same quality & performance

Why would you need a $3000 PC? A $1000 PC can offer roughly the same gaming experience as PS5 Pro (with the same quality settings, resolution and framerates). But PC can offer much more when it comes to PC exclusive features (like DLSS, FG) and mods.

I don't know about you, but I will be playing this on Nintendo Switch 2 and I don't care if it has PS4-level graphics. It's a game, not a painting in which I'm supposed to stare at the details in every frame.
Don't see any difference whatsoever, well OK some very minor ones. Difference between high end and consoles (well this is a high end console) is becoming negligible.
It's a shitty port, it's clear that it was passed from PS5 to PC by incompetents; It has NO scaling function, it doesn't have anything at all in fact (asking for a dlss is pure fantasy!)
But the most disgusting thing is the omnipresent stuttering every fucking moment in the game. Asked for a refund, it's too much now.

I almost died yesterday, or at VERY least, went into cardiac arrest. Apparently, being too high on, OR too low on potassium results in the same negative effects. It causes heart complications, poor blood flow, numbness, tingle sensations especially in the limbs, fatigue, weakness, the feeling of feeling overly heavy as if you can't move due to being too weak, and shortness of breath. I felt like I had to force myself to breathe manually. Also, the same effects can happen due to having too much protein, and even magnesium in some cases. I've also been running AND (intermittent) fasting EVERY single day, too. Don't overdo any of those things like I've been doing. I almost died. I'm scared about what to do and NOT do now tbh... the doctors didn't ENTIRELY know what caused it, so I can only generalize, which scares me. Now I'm afraid of what to, and what NOT to do

I played this on PS5 on performance mode when it first launched. Replaying this on my PC is almost night and day. I can’t go back to the console version.
