You bet
Very, very relevant anthem for the end of '23, sadly even more so than when the song was first released.
I can't believe he is gone now. R.I.P Legend. He is in a much better place now.
RIP CHARLIE. May your music carry on for many more generations to come.
Charlie knew how to get down to the nitty gritty and tell the truth. That's something that's lacking in the world today. Thank you Charlie and the CDB. You tell my side of the story. RIP Charlie. See you on the other side.
I got to meet Mr. Daniels at Barry Field when he was getting ready to go on a USO tour. I was working in the Life Support shop there. Even though he was extremely busy he took the couple of seconds for a person in uniform to get a picture with him. That was one man I was thankful to shake his bear claw for a hand.
This song never gets old.
Hello Jennifer.. how are you doing?
Never will...truth in every way
For sure.
For sure.
I met him once in a mall in Gastonia. I was just a teenager. I could barely speak. I was like "you know who you are?" He just smiled and said yeah. All I could say was damn it's Charlie. He was walking around the mall and no one seemed to notice. I'll never forget. Many tears for The Simple Man".
Hello 👋 Dear. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Scott Clifford am from Denver Colorado. Where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
My wife says I’m a simple man. In a good way. This song is my anthem. Spent my life saving lives & helping others standing up for those who can’t ! Yankee or not.. AMERICA 🇺🇸
Couldnt pick a better anthem thanks for your service buddy stay safe out thier god bless
Rest in Peace Charlie. It was an honor and privilege to meet you.
Charlie is in the presence of The Lord. Congratulations on finishing the race.
This song has more meaning now than ever.
Charlie Daniels hits the Nail on the Head in this song. it was true back then and it's still true today. Fiddle on Mr Daniels !!!
tbh a lot of teachers don't deserve respect. They're just leeches. Far from all of them, but too many are liberal propaganda disseminators and nothing else.
What about the songs he sang about being a hippy and smoking dope?
+Mark R People do change, you know.
@@baldy194859 better days, when? The 20s and 30s where we had a financial collapse and prohibitions violating freedooms? The 40s where people were stripped of their livelihoods and families due to war? Or the 50s and 60s, where black people were segregated and werent equal? Maybe the 70s and 80s where we had another terrible war? Maybe im too far forward. The 17 and 1800s? Where disease famine and inequality of class, race and gender still existed? No, none of these, the modern america is the best one by far, people are simply blind to the terrible past, per usual.
@@MrMarkRoads what about it?
Miss you Charlie. Your beliefs is more of what we need.
More people should listen to this song in the year 2020
RIP CHARLIE DANIELS July 7th 2020 We need this song more than ever
Came here to listen to this once again after hearing Rich Men North of Richmond, very much the same echos in both songs, though one is even more simple than this legendary song is. These sentiments aren't just still alive, they seem to about to be the spark that starts a fire. We need this now.
RIP charlie ---- I'm trying to celebrate my birthday in lockdown and I hear on the radio that you passed away today. RIP prayers for ever
Only band that gave free concert to 1stArmored Div....Germany....1980.....I was there....

The United states needs to hear this song again.
@@BjFritz this song needs to be replaced for the national anthem at Ball game's for the year of (2025) (simple man --by Charlie Daniels) God bless you.
RIP... You'll be with us for every antifa body that drops, and the rest of all of our lives. LEGEND!
Well said grizzled wanderer.
RIP Mr. Daniels. You were the most down to earth, and God fearing star ever. You and your band were extremely talented and numerous of your songs (including from some religious albums) were played before we went to the field for America. May your family be at peace knowing that God is now getting to jam in heaven with you and your great tunes!! SEMPER FI!!!
I've been enjoying this man's story telling since I was a little kid I'm 35 now. This song is something that everyone needs to hear
💯
@@jimbeaux89Matthew 11:28 come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. As well as Romans 6:23 for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God (Jesus who died on the cross for our sins) is eternal life. As long as you put your faith and trust in Him.
This needs to be played everyday so it reminds people how we need to take this country back!
If only 2020 was more like this we would be in less of a mess
This song is right on. I agree with everything he says.
Rip
Amen
It doesn't matter if you are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Wiccan, Neodruid, Heathen, Buddhist, or other. He is singing wisdom.
To be fair, when the criminal justice system is extremely corrupt, and everyone knows it, but still criminals go free, what can you do? That being said, I do not condone the murder of innocent people. However, I will nevertheless respect your opinions on this song, I apologize if I came off as rude.
@mi channel In that case, we run into the problem of: not everyone in jail/prison deserves to be there. Corruption is not just criminals getting to walk free (to continue their crimes) it is also innocent people being punished unjustly.
More truth in this song than alot realize. Exactly how I feel with things today. Thank you Charlie
I am listening to this beautiful song on election day on Nov 5 2024 and it brings tears to my eyes because I am praying that God will bless us and keep our country free from the evil that wants to destroy our Nation.I pray that our Nation will turn back to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ
and we did it my friend
This song is amazing, and showing the absolute opposite of the way this country and world are going!!! RIP Mr. 🙏 Charlie Daniels 😢!!! Apparently, the world forgot about the good book 📖 he is talking about!!!

This is the truth.
@ChaoticBrutal Ranger People like you didn't build this country, you know how I know? Because we're not speaking Japanese, or German, or we're still here at all!
Unfortunately this is proving to be prophetic. Tell Jesus that we are ready, Charlie! ❤
Hello Shelly. How’s your day going?
RIP Charlie Daniels, you'll surely be missed.
Hello Pretty 💖
Charlie put on a concert for us while I was in the Marine Corps. He genuinely cared and put on a great show.....it cost nothing to us btw. I'd guess hes singing to the Almighty now. RIP.
Rest In Peace Charlie thanks for your music. God's Speed.
Every time I hear this song, it gets more and more relevant. God save us
