The reason why people requested disc 13 is because disc 13 is meant to be played alongside disc 11 to create a setting, which fans have speculated is the player getting chased by herobrine, and eventually meeting their doom by the same entity.
There's actually a few other KK Slider songs that are uncomfortable to listen to. KK Swing has the same weird reversed section that KK Lullaby has, and it can catch some off guard if they aren't expecting it. There's also the 4am theme from New Leaf which sounds strangely suspenseful. It was used it a popular "horror village" too called Aika Village I think. Some of the late night/early morning hourly themes in the original Gamecube Animal Crossing are unsettling too.
If you are planning to make a volume three, here are some competitors. Minecraft’s soundtrack has a pretty disturbing song called ‘End’. It sounds like the normal Minecraft theme until it starts lagging and repeats at one point. Then it jumps into a very disturbing silence with occasional sounds. In the new Wild update, another creepy disc was added to Minecraft by the name of ‘5’. I speculate this is the full version of Disc 11, as you need disc fragments to craft it. At the part where Disc 11 blacks out, we are treated with a horrifying screech that slowly descends into unsettling happy music. You should give it a listen, as I thought I heard a Sculk Sensor at the near end of the disc. Sorry that both of these are from Minecraft, but they are actually pretty creepy.
ok so here are the ones i wanna see next -world of nothing: super paper mario -ripple star: kirby 64 -drowning: sonic -infinite staircase: mario 64 (personal one as a kid) -distortion world: pokemon platinum -forest temple: tloz ocarina of time also you should make a general one with most adult songs like "witch nearby" from left 4 dead

What made the Submerged Castle in Pikmin 2 even more creepier besides the soundtrack is the fact you have to hurry. And if you don't, the infamous Waterwraith will drop down and will track you down, crushing all your Pikmin in one go.
I find Water World from the SNES soundtrack of DKC3 to be genuinely scary since I’m afraid of being trapped underwater and it nails that feeling, capturing the hopelessness of the vast depths, but it’s also hauntingly beautiful
I discovered K.k lullaby played at stitches's house in wild world. I was SO SCARED and concerned for stitches. Because... You know. He's a ripped apart stuffed toy.
Submerged Castle... The only underground level that scared me as a kid that also made me reach the point of turning off my GameCube just to make me to end up hiding under my bedsheets
I have some suggestions for this series. In Miitopia the title theme changes depending on what world you're in. The title theme for the end game area Otherworld is...very River Twygz adjacent. In the game Taiko no Tatsujin Wii 2 there's a song hidden in the files called 1stpai. While no child would find it normally, it's still a rather creepy song. The bad ending of the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion has a very unsettling track. People theorize that it's the warning alarm for Inkopolis kinda like a tornado siren.
In pikmin three at close to the end of the game when you are running away from the first phase of the plasma wraith with Olimar and your pikmin this very intense and scary soundtrack plays and it becomes more intense when the plasma wraith is close to you.
If you do another one of these please put the boss music from sonic CD in. It really creeped me out as a kid and at one point I had to mute the tv because it made me nervous and creeped out
I still think Acerola's Trial deserves to be on one of these, especially because it's non-optional and it gave me a bigger fright than any other because I thought my 300 euro studio in-ears were dying. That and the boss room in both Splatoon games. Or even Sonic CDs secret message screen.
There were a few sounds you missed Minecraft that scare me so much still. Cave ambience, Geiger counter sounds in basalt deltas, help and here from Warped forest, and soul screams in the soul sand valleys. Also some honorable mentions: scream from enderman sounds like the death rattle from the grudge. Disk 13 in Minecraft is just plain eerie to listen to. The music in the background of The End dimension sounds like someone is hacking into the game also. There was also an extremely creepy sound in an April fools update out of anything called "air.ogg," it makes my ears bleed and it sounds like a broken TV signal. "Deep.ogg" is underwater ambience that sounds extremely other worldly, and terrify many new players. Last but not least, "curse.ogg" is a jumpscares if you get too close to an ocean monument. These are all of the creepy Minecraft sounds I found that downright scare me and also scare older players. Markiplier and Corxy both heard the cave ambience and started freaking out or attempting to shrug it off. So if one of these sounds get compiled into another creepy sounds entry. It needs to be the cave ambience.
If you ever make another one of these, I ask u to include K.K Hypno. I always thought this song was just eerie in a way, especially in an animal crossing game, it seemed to almost contrast the actual game lol
Cool series; I nominate the vampire's castle theme from "Conker's Bad Fur Day" (if that counts as a children's game which may not be the case :)) ... also very eery IMHO: several tracks from the first Myst game.
Crawling crypt from skylanders Spyro’s adventure, is similar to tomb of the ancients from rayman 2. It uses string instruments to replicate the sound of spiders crawling musically.
I'm wondering if unused music counts since the one I find the most disturbing has to be the unused Hall of Origin theme from the unused Arceus event in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. However, the theme got used in Pokémon Legends Arceus and I think in the followup mission in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl to get the god Pokémon. The theme sounds like a distorted version of the title screen's theme that totally gives me the creepy vibe that your character shouldn't be here. Your trainer used an in-universe hack to access god, a being that they shouldn't be able to meet, and this is a warning that god isn't messing around. As second entry, I would say Joke's End from the original Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is chilling, which is fitting for an ice-themed area. Most areas of the Beanbean Kingdom are named after synonyms of laughting and they're mostly using them in pleasant ways to make you feel happy about those places. But as its name suggest, Joke's End isn't about happy feelings. I've seen some people call it the Lavender Town of the Mario universe but between this or River Twygz Bed, I find it hard to choose which of these two soundtrack is the most messed up.
Disc 13 and 11 are meant to be played together since when you do it sounds like someone exploring a cave. This was to help mini game devs with soundtracks.
just going to use n's castle but ignore the actual haunted house ns room is also visitable in b/w but the theme isn't as warped and the toys are fine, the train even moves and the lights are on not to mention the water wraith present in submerged castle
There is another Kirby song that i’ve personally think of as the eeriest Kirby song. It features in Kirby: Canvas Curse and is called ‘World of Drawcia’.
Damn the devs must have wanted kids to have nightmares bc a song named "Hell" in a kids game is kinda creepy but the game with the giant sized bugs the background music freaked me out and i don't think i'll be playing kids games for a while😰
Ok. If you know, you can’t play 2 discs at the same time in Minecraft. BUT you play disc 13 and at 1 point at the song it just stops.. you can play disc 11, AKA the broken disc and it makes another song!
Very cool second Part and i hope for a Third, but i helped you and giving you more creepy Soundtracks from Children Games they are including: Mysty Menace [Stop and Go Station] from Donkey Kong Country Song of Unhealing from The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask Sonic CD US Boss Theme World of Drawcia from Kirby Canvas Curse Strange House from Pokemon Black & White 2 Camp Chilli Wa-Wa Day 4 from Pink Panther Passport to Peril Scorch's Pit from Spyro the Dragon [This is only my Opinion but i think they could be very scary for Children]
4:12 is not scary. i allready kill that water wraith. with my own purple and blue and white and bulbmin. it was super easy and is not scary. the submerged castle is my favorite
Honorable mentions: Kirby 64: 02 theme Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow: Lavender Town (although it IS overrated) Pokemon Platinum: Distortion World Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum: Old Chateau Pokemon Legends: Arceus: Vs. Arceus (seriously, the glitching effect made it scarier) Sonic CD : Boss theme (U.S.) Animal Crossing: 4 A.M. Sonic the Hedgehog: Drowning theme Animal Crossing: Hypno K.K. (a.k.a. Aika Village)
what about that creepy music that plays in splatoon / splatoon 2 if you decide to wait in the boss room for around 10 - 15 or so minutes instead of finishing the level
That Pokémon one reminded me SO MUCH of the Lavender Town music.
Yes.
I wanna hear a remix of pokemon ruby
yeah i was thinking Pokemon lost silver or Pokemon mount silver
It’s the same music
Yup
The reason why people requested disc 13 is because disc 13 is meant to be played alongside disc 11 to create a setting, which fans have speculated is the player getting chased by herobrine, and eventually meeting their doom by the same entity.

jeez! didnt realize animal crossing was so unsettling
I think k slider is actually a cultist secretly attempting to revive a god by using many of his songs as a welcome to whatever god he worships
Aika Village also used KK Hypno
What is K.K?
@@whyhellothereoldsport5556 KK Slider, the character. His songs have his initials in it
When I was younger, Hypno K.K. was the Animal Crossing song that freaked me out the most
Still haunts me to this day
Finally someone acknowledges drought from Pokémon. I think that song deserves creepy recognition way more then lavender town

ive listened to the end, and yeah, its hella terrifying and nice at the same time
I like how he never mentioned the Sonic drowning music as it is a fucking banger in Sonic generations and the adventure game
I was hoping you would do another one of these, and happy you did!

I remember being mad about not hearing the normal banger boss fight song
The Miitopia song that plays in hub areas after all the NPC's faces are stolen is quite creepy too.
You should check out some of the super Mario 3-D world’s music because it terrified me as a kid in some of the ghost levels and dark castles
Have to look back on them. Been ages since I played 3D World, and have wanted to try bowsers fury so now I have a reason :)
